I'd say I defend referees more than your average poster as with a lot of decisions you can understand where an error of judgement may have come from but I'm really struggling with this incident.

Both officials are in a good position and its not complicated by the player running at full pace into the box where a touch outside would send him flying inside.

Baffling.

It was a penalty but it was given and that's that, like Col said before what was Hubby thinking of making a tackle like that just there anyway!  from that range the freekick would probably gone in anyway.

I'd said 10 minutes before full time that it would probably come down to a freekick or penalty anyway, we we're being driven back more and more, they were pushing up and up and it was always going to happen.  The first 30 minutes we looked really good but after that there was only going to be one winner

............ and thanks to Hubby and the ref it was Watford.
