Tyson seems to be asking for the ball.

and how many times during the game did we fanny about with the ball in our own half end end up messing up?

Everyone was taking too many touches.  There was no speed to our play; it was far too ponderous and made it easy for United to get bodies back or put pressure on the ball.

Remeber last season when we got a pen against Wigan at home? Forrester did the exact same thing run for the ball to take the pen but instead Browny took it off him

2:25-2:30 row z is all I say, how much time do we need on the ball? Pathetic defending.

Tyson is definitely calling for the ball. He has hit it OK, it's just it's at the right hight for the keeper. If it was a foot or so higher/lower it would have go in.

As for their goal, you have to say it's was a great strike but how many opportunities were there to get the ball clear. Terrible defending.

Lots of encroaching going on for the pen

Where's Trevor Kettle when you need him  :crying:

What is Wabara doing before conceding the corner leading up to the goal? That is poor beyond belief.

That said, plenty of other chances to sort it out before a cracking strike, but failed to close down Murphy before he shoots.

The pen is hit hard enough, but Forrester telegraphs it to the keepers right as he runs up to the ball.

Some events on the pitch Dickov really can't control, but pens and set plays are work for the training ground. Allowing players to operate on the basis of who fancies it is completely tinpot and Sunday morning.

Although it wasn't the first time that Wabara gave away a needless corner by dallying on the ball it was incidental to the goal. The fault came from whoever (Forrester?) lost the 50-50 challenge on half way and then on both Wakefield and Wabara who should have been sending Murphy down the line.

Although someone commented about Murphy having the beating of Wakefield on the outside it seldom caused us a problem as he wasn't capable of putting in a dangerous ball with his left peg. His right was another kettle of fish altogether!

To be honest by the time he scored Murphy should have had two yellows for two terrible dives, cheating kitson.

Great point Dutch. It should have been re-taken whether it went in or not, as players from both teams were in the box when the ball was struck

It was Copp's that lost the 50/50 , but to be fair to him the ball was going away from him and more towards Alcock.

When Murphy picked up the ball they basically had a 2 v 1 against our RB. Laughable when we had a man advantage.

At first look Copps appeared to lose the ball to a handball, but not so sure now...

Wakefield was covering the other player, not his fault for the goal.  Wabara closed down Murphy too late.

Should've been a straight red for the Blades fan going in two footed during the celebration.
