Penalty taker
« on February 13, 2021, 04:59:21 pm by swain_drfc »
Who is our penalty taker?

Oh yes it’s our top scorer who was on the bench today when he should have been on the left side of the front 3 which would allow Reece James to play in his actual position of left back.

Get Cameron John out of that left back position now! Supposedly he is there to add extra height to our back 4. What use is that when he doesn’t even challenge for the ball  :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

Alright picking on John but what about Halliday not stopping cross for second? James not holding the line for 3rd? Butler losing Wyke in box for the 4th when he was at one point stood next to him?

As for the penalty taker it was amateurish how the team didnt know who was the penalty taker. That should be known before you step out on pitch.

I've got some sympathy for Halliday as McGeady is a Championship player really. He is top quality. Butler and Wright had one man to mark though and neither of them got within the same postcode of Wyke for each of his goals.

Okenabirhie will be on the left of a front 3 in time but he was rested as we're in the middle of a shit tonne of fixtures. Bogle, Smith, Sims or Bostock should have taken those penalties.

Probably won't get another pen all season now, none of those were stone wallers.

They didn’t have anyone to mark at the corner, we apply zonal marking at corners

Isn't it a mixture of zonal and man marking?

Get Halliday lined up for Pen taker

Some of the best ones have been defenders.

Get him to take 60 at Balcombe and if he gets 42 out of 60 the jobs his

If Fejs on the pitch it's his, otherwise its Bogle.
