Just been told there is 1 trialist at cantley park today. Not sure about his name but it is terry McDermott son. Terry was a coach at Newcastle. Anybody no who is son is? And the stock to burnley move is still happening. Been more talks today.

It's gregg. Came from Newcastle youth. Not sure if he plays for them still or if he been released.

It's been tweeted by drfc there at no trialists only contracted players minus bêye. So also no gilly and muzzy ect

It just says they didn't take part in training not that there wasn't any there look at the wording carefully we may find out more after the weekend

David has just put this on twitter himself so there is a trialist down as my mate told me and it is Greg McDermott.

McDermott was released from Newcastle on 1st June and plays central midfield or centre back. Sounds the right age and background.

He also says he is here on the Rovers player pre Cleethorpes interview also says there are other trialists that will get a run out tomorrow.
