How f**king stupid can you be? Give tens if thousands if quid to a fund with one person in control of it?

I wry smiled initially, them being Millers 'n all, but read most of their posts and now feel very sorry for them.  As football fans and ordinary folk they don't deserve that. It's a lot of money to lose. I hope they get it back.

Evolution of the human brain must be painfully slow in Rotherham, handing over that amount of cash with out receipts or anything!

Right lads, anyone fancy booking a plane to Brentford, just send your money to me, I`ll sort it! :)

I will be running a hot air balloon to Brentford. Depending on the wind direction, I foresee this taking between 8 hours and 9 weeks.

Bring a coat.

I forecast a southwesterly with the sounds of buckets rattling on the breeze.

Not good though, thieving t**t.

Just had a thought though.  If he's already paid a decent deposit for the plane before making off with the rest of the loot, maybe we could stump up the balance and use it to tow another banner round their ground when we win promotion.

Just read it all. The "Explanation" is hilarious.

Quite. He does a runner and closes down ways of contacting him yet they're still willing to believe his promises about paying people back! I know they want to clutch at straws rather than believe they've lost the lot, but as someone at a distance it just looks like a 'please don't get the coppers involved while I cover my tracks'.

I do feel sorry for those who have been robbed of their money but for Christ's sake, how could you even consider handing over £240 p/person to something which was being organised in such an unprofessional manner?

Looks like some Rotherham fans booked a plane to go to Plymouth via a pub landlord and guess what hes done a runner with the money

True, just got in from work and one of my work mates is a big Rotherham and he was going down to Plymouth  on the plane with his missus, he's lost out on 480 quid inc. matchday tickets, apparently the person behind it all 'WAS' the landlord of the hare and hound in Rotherham and he did a runner yesterday with the money (roughly 16 grand).

On this topic, I never did see the result of the tenner I gave Sturdy in a boozer in Boston in 2004 for the Hull City flypast.
