How long's Paddy Madden been there? thought he was better than this level.

Great scenes at the end, the pitch invasion and the scorer Crankshaw losing his shirt. Ian Evatt’s face, not many Trotters in the ground when the final whistle went.

Paddy Madden is there because they are paying very good money, the Bolton captain of a month ago has joined Stockport, Antoni Sarcevic , but then he did start out playing for Woodley Sports which is based in Stockport.
I wonder if that other semi famous resident of the area was there tonight a certain Mr Mark Weaver

Well, Bolton are actually going to have to play three games in seven days this coming week.
The third one, next Tuesday, is against us.
Teams have been known not to turn up in the past under these circumstances.
(Even though it was three games in eight days the last time).

Bolton could not cope with being put under pressure in their box.

Get crosses in early, avoid Santos, and have a big lad with attitude to compete, and that's them done for.

Great game, like footy in the olden days.
Not tippy tappy across the back, then 10 yard passes until you lose the ball.
Simple game really!

I hope RW watched this game. Lots to learn from both sides. I thought Stockport were excellent. Bolton look to have a worse defence than us.

I feel as bad as Bolton are defensively, they have forwards that will give us problems. I can’t see a nil nil in that game.

Stockport having a good go recently, don't think to Wrexham levels but still lobbing some money at it.

Have been in the area when they are at home, very decent crowds for the level
