I'm finally taking my little lad to his first game today. He's come down stairs this morning buzzing about going to the Rovers and sitting in the red seats, bless him.

I remember the first few times I took my daughter. A 5-0 win against forest green was her 1st.
Not long after we lost 1-0 at home to staylbridge Celtic ( teenagers- we used to play some real shit teams!!) Rovers were roundly booed off and she took it upon herself to continue booing right back to the car and most of the way home. She didn't go again that season!!

I remember the first time I was taken to a game. I wasn't that fussed. Rovers Vs Barnet 1995. It was an awful game but my, it didn't half get me hooked.

my first game versus crewe alexandra mi dad took me it must have been bowt 77-78 cant remember exactly but round bowt that time and i was sat on the old concrete duggout and spilt a bovril over the manager at the time and got to sit in the duggout

Very proud and glad to say that today was a huge success. Leo lasted the full 90 mins and really enjoyed it and he wants to go again soon. I'm expecting PM from JR himself to thank me for indoctrinated one of my children to the cause.
