Just in case anyone else was confused by reading the Imps threa for this game :silly:
-
Good first half by the lads. DM is shuffling the pack cleverly. Saw that Joe Wright was going to get fouls against him so switched him for the Ginger Cafu, and now Copps on for Amos.
-
Anybody just lost the ifollow stream?
Edit: never mind, it's back.
-
No but I've found it's rubbish live but works OK-ish if you pop it back 20 seconds or so.
-
Amos has been one of our best players, what was that sub about? Might as well take Mr No End Product Taylor off.
-

Cheers, was rock solid for 57 minutes for me then just went completely. Private browser window seems to have sorted it so I expected it's something on my PC rather than the stream itself...bit weird.

Drysdale doesn't want to upset Wimbledon on their big day, does he. Potential penalty denied and a number of clear fouls against us not given.

Lots of people struggling with it tonight.
-
Rovers well on top now.
-
Desperate for a goal. Would be points dropped if w don’t win tonight
-
Has to be the most defensive home side i have seen for some time. It's like a cup game against a lower league side.
-
Getting nowt from this ref are we.?
-
Stats suggest it's all one way traffic.. We know how that usually ends... 🤔

Sounds the perfect situation for a last winner for...the home side! :headbang:
-
The push in the first half looked a def pen
-

Tactical, I'd say. Copps more creative than James in the middle so Amos off, James back and Copps to pull the strings. The game was turning and DM has made sure it stayed in our favour.
-
It's coming...... 🙄
-
let's get a winner !
-
Have really got 68% possession? (BBC match report).
-
At least I'd say
-
Yes we have most of the play.
-
On Sky bet: Attacks W 91 D120, Dangerous attacks W48 D66 Possession W 38% D 62%, I'd say we have been on top. But we need another goal!!!!!
-
Come on Rovers.. :scarf:

This!
Come on Rovers!
-
Anderson with a great chance and glanced the header.
-
Sky reporter just said we have had 2 blatant penalties turned down. Why do we never get good decisions!?
-
Ten minutes of normal time left...I’m getting a bit nervous!
-
2:1
-
Ffs
-
Typical!
-
He's a good striker, him.
-
Jeez
-
🙄
-
If I have to watch the same game again this season......
-
2:1
Nooooooooooo!
-
We got mugged again....I want their back four...cos ours give me as many heart flutters as good-feels...
-
This game was there for the taking as they say
-
We’ve nothing up top
Plenty of possession get in good areas but we’ve no goalscorer
-
Once again not taking our chances and a homer of a ref
-
Yep totally agree
-
This game was there for the taking as they say
Wigan all over again.
-
Once again not taking our chances and a homer of a ref
He's from Lincolnshire....
-
Once again, not good enough. Rovers should have wiped this game away in the first half, instead we make errors (Bursik again) and give another three points away.
-
To slow. Forward back back back sideways back.
-
Another game where we can’t beat the lesser sides .
Okenabrihe isn’t good enough, not by a long way
-
To slow. Forward back back back sideways back.
Well that explains the 69% possession then...
-
2:2
-
Ggooaallll
-
We are one of the best teams in the league until we get near the oppositions penalty area then we are one of the worst. This is embarrassing watching.

it really does.
-
Get in. Copps
-
Well, at least we can say that we scored the first away goal at new Plough Lane!
And we can now say that we’ve earned the first away point at Plough Lane!
:scarf:
-
What? We can't score until we are behind? Why is there a difference once Wimbledon score? Are they relaxing a bit, or idoes it take that to wake our ideas up? Defeats me.
-
Get in. A point away is fine
-

awkward?

Christ on a cracker there's some overreaction in this thread.
-
Just seen the equaliser on SSN. Shot from Copps from 12 yards - huge deflection looped it over the keeper. Nothing less than Rovers have deserved according to Sky Reporter.
-
Frustrating despite the point, we were way better than them. Still glad we managed to draw
-
We played well tonight
No doubt about that,
Just can’t score goals when we’re on top
-
Happy with a point on balance. Work to be done on breaking down defensive sides.
-
Got lucky there a point better than nothing but Wimbledon aren't a bad side
-
I honestly cant remember seeing such a one sided game especially second half. Yet we nearly went home with nothing. Still feels like a loss, but a point is better than nothing.
-
Feel for Fej. Absolutely no service, silly hopeful balls that never had a chance of getting to him.
-
Desperately need John Jules back or somebody else up front. Going nowhere with Okenabrihe leading the line. It’s not an off day either, Carnot fault his work rate or hold up play but he’s there to score. He’s not had one effort all night
-
Yep, aside from slating the attacking play, why not aim the frustration at the officials who again have denied us blatant penalties. That’s 3 we should have had that haven’t been given now
-
We played well tonight

Sorry Dickos but playing well means all over the pitch not just in 75% of it. We wont play many teams worse than Wimbledon this season. We should have won that game by a mile.
-
Early doors. Once we figure out the attack.... boom.
-
Feel for Fej. Absolutely no service, silly hopeful balls that never had a chance of getting to him.
That’s nonsense
He gets balls into his feet and just lets defenders get in front of him, he doesn’t find space in the box it’s no coincidence that the majority of our chances don’t fall to him
-
Lots of pretty stuff but nothing in the box, and for christ sake give Jones a go in goal Birsik don’t fill me with confidence at all

They looked bad because we played well and made them look bad.
Look at their results and you’ll realise they’re not a bad side
-

Did you watch the game? Wimbledon were hopeless.
-
Some of the comments on here are quite frankly embarrassing to read.
Fej didn’t have a bad game - he just didn’t have any chances come his way, but some of those eye of a needle passes by Whiteman were very close to doing so.
I’ll admit we could be better in the final third, but hells teeth, when the opposition parks the bus they are very difficult to break down.
And, did our heads drop when we went 2-1 down with only minutes to play.? Did they f**k, apart from some on here.
We battled and battled and the equaliser was none less than we deserved.
We were even looking for the winner afterwards too.
Don’t forget it looked like we were playing against 12 tonight.
Some of you need to have a long hard look at what you posted tonight - yes the score at one point was frustrating and yes we should have won the game, but I thought the players deserve great credit tonight - some of you lot, no chance.!
-

I mean from a losing position getting a point is better than nothing and Wimbledon are only 3 points behind us so they aren’t a bad side.
No ref in the world would have let Wimbledon lose that game the 1st in the new ground

One stat at half time said a lot about how we played. Wimbledon 17 intercepted passes!!!! Our passing was piss poor.
-
No it wasn’t - Wimbledon defended very well.
Fine margins, especially Whiteman’s through passes which few players in this league would attempt..
-
We played well, Wimbledon are a decent side look at the table.
As a side we get in great positions with this side and if we had a decent striker he’d be scoring a shed load of goals.
But we don’t at the minute

I have to agree with this.
Someone like Pigott would score loads in our team.

Go look on the thread on the main board about last nights game.. someone posted a pic of match stats showing our passing accuracy as 86%
How is that piss poor.?
