Yep, across the whole game Thomas was excellent. There were other good performances notably Friend, Mills, Woods, Moussa and Sharp, but I thought the leadership and commitment shown by Thomas last night was fantastic. I lost count of the amount of timely blocks he made.

Enjoyed the report Glyn but from what I've heard, Moussa and Friend were top notch. Generally an 'all round' excellent team contribution though it must be said..

Moussa was excellent in the second half, but struggled to make a genuine impact in the first and lacked a bit of composure on the ball. Once he got his stride after the break though he was superb.

Friend also very good, but I personally felt Thomas was the better of the two centre-halves

Good report. Thomas had his best game for us last night.

I really feel we look so much more balanced with Friend and Mills in the same side. It's just a plain and simple left pegger CH we have missed. His natural leftyness takes him to Mills territory and clears up or assists or allows Mills so much more freedom to patrol up and down the left side. Things are looking up.

I really like Mills (he will better Robbo if he comes and in time, and that says a lot) and should be a priority signing this summer. Once we are safe, I say send him back saying he's shite, and get him on a free or cheap deal.

Another top report from the VivaRovers production line. Have to say, I like the rock, paper, scissors reference.

Glen you always say 'for those not there' as an opener.... well I get to most games but still enjoy your articles.  Top drawer stuff.

Thanks.

Cracking report. A different league to the report on DROS, which is very poor to say the very least!

Don't know how you managed to come to a conclusion on MOTM lol. There was so many to pick from. Moussa, Sharp, Friend, Thomas, Woods were all outstanding. Friend seems to have naturally adapted to the new centre back position. He's been brilliant in our time of need.

Cheers Nate, but in defence of the official site and other outlets, I'm not constrained by word counts or turn around time, which they of course will be.

A first class report and it's nice that you understand the pressure that other wtiters are under, rather than just criticise. Doesn't mean that they can't try harder though.:)

Went to the game and yes Thomas did have a good game for us.... Finally. Still has a lot to prove though. The other 3 defenders, friend hird and mills are consistently better. Great result and an overall great team performance. Moussa mom!
