Since when has Claire Ryan been in charge of player contracts?

And don't say through JR, he didn't know how long a contract Saunders was given when he was appointed, Saunders had to tell him in a media interview

In fact, I seem to remember a few years ago JR being annoyed with the users of this forum in it's previous incarnation about the details of a players contract being aired in public on here, the forum users got a very public telling off via Andy Liney the then Chairman of the VSC, I think the player in question was Paul Barnes, now surely he's not releasing details of a players contract now is he, via a third party, probably on a facebook page that is very pro JR to say the least, not unless he had something to potentially gain by doing that

Pretty sure his contract expired on 1st January. QPR (or anyone else) presumably wouldn't have been able to sign him in otherwise. Unless they paid for him maybe

As I understand it, you're allowed to talk to a player whose contract is expiring, I think up to 6 months in advance (but that could be wrong).
