Sleepy Joe caused havoc
« on June 16, 2022, 09:53:38 pm by Sprotyrover »
Sleepy Joe has openly stated his policy is to do away with fossil fuels, a noble cause but look at the cost which we all will feel in the Autumn, his first act when he assumed power was to halt the development of a pipeline from Canada (3rd largest Oil reserves)
Which would have enabled a further million barrels of oil per day to be processed by the US refineries.
No doubt affluent well healed members of the Green Party applaud this move. However due to the Wests reliance on Russian zorilla and Gas we are facing a bleak winter.
Venezuela, 301 Billion barrels of oil in place the worlds largest oil reserves, how did we let this country get into the mess it is in, millions of Venezuelans simply had to walk out of the country in the recent past to avoid starvation.
Venezuelas oil industry is on its backside due to years of under investment it currently barrel produce Circa 650,000 barrels a day. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but we should have seen this coming. It's in the US sphere of influence, I presume that the US lost interest in Venexuela when a Socialist regime got into power?

Look on the bright side - USA stops buying, lower demand and Canada will be looking for someone else to sell their oil to. Better for the rest of us and who cares about unused pipelines to the US?

I'm still wondering what we'll use for power without these Russian zorillas.

They won't be thinking of the short term if they want to sell their oil.
