A protest against the board is needed Monday!!! This club is heading in one direction  (Down) we r sat in the bricklayers arms in Colchester totally disgusted with that performance and we have been watching rovers since mid 70s. Worst team since Richardson days!!! RTWD

Why the board - they've given him the funds to bring players in. It's not their fault if those funds aren't used correctly.

We've just brought in 3 loan signings - the manager was the one who chose those players.

The board have allowed DF to bring players in, the fact they aren't the right players isn't the boards fault

It's not the Board's fault, they backed Fergie with money for 3 loan signings, and still we lose, the buck stops with the manager. He needs to go, walk or pushed.

The Board didn't back Fergie though when we were on a good run in Jan did they, when we should have signed 3 or 4 quality signings to replace Wellens, Forrester and Jones. Another striker at the time to compliement what we had, and better quality than Gooch was needed. The Board have backed him too little too late!!!

Easy to protest do not go to the game on Monday.
Show the club when you have no ambition you go backwards.

Stay away and let's see how they can be sustainable.

Well they weren't used, and clearly they would have been as we let go of three players with high wages for our club and non were replaced. I don't believe Ferguson wouldn't have wanted another striker to replace Anderson. 2 defeats in 12 by Jan 2nd, you back a manager when your doing well. This is the consequence of us not strengthening then.

Whether PD or DF, both managers you believe have had the funds yet the teams that they have produced have performed badly consistently so we find our selves in this postion.

While I'm not going to blame the board, every signing bar Alcock has been a cheap option, mostly young lads on cheap wages

Let's go back two seasons under PD and DF they both signed players using funds that were available, supporters felt even last summer we had signed better players. Yet the results have shown under both managers that we are not competitive in the league 1. The board have given both managers funds? So have both managers wasted the money given or have those funds not been good enough to put a competitive team together.

Both managers have had their failings, the players have also failed. But the biggest failing is the board have not shown any ambition from day one of their tenure. It's been a suck it and see planning that as failed. So how can we as supporters trust them to make the right decisions now.

Not the boards fault they don't sign the players or pick the team

What a ridiculous comment . They sign those little bits of paper that says he can or cannot buy. Seems to me they saw those results in January and said ''we can get by '' SUSTAINABILITY

Utter utter nonsense
They give the manager the funds and he spends it, that's why they employ a manager

Hoola

You seem to love DF. Perhaps because he is the son of the former manager of another team who plays in red shirts.

Here's my take on it. Ferguson tells the Board in January that he doesn't think he can get promoted this season. However, if he gets shot of some of his experienced players, can he carry over some budget to next season? He'll bring in youngsters on loan and if they impress he'll try to get them in on season-long loans next season. He has no concerns about relegation, because he's got enough quality to finish mid table.

On the other hand, if Ferguson had asked to sign experienced players in January and the board had told him no, do you think he would still be here? I think not.

After that performance today DF should do the honourable thing and resign. He has completely lost the players as their body language was totally negative from the first whistle.
1st half awful as were Colchester, I was almost falling asleep.
2nd half, ( what did he say to them in the dressing room?)  was totally diabolical, shameful in fact.
DF must go now while there is a glimmer of hope in staying up.
If he stays we are down no question whatsoever.
