Rovers facebook page

With the fact we dont get the greatest of attendances and we are seeking to build our fanbase does anyone think making people aware of the latest matches and ticket news etc could be good for attracting fans as most people go on it nowadays. the more people on it i think could make a difference for people to tell friends and family about the page.

It already has over 7,000 members, which is close to our average home gate each week and could ve a essential tool for advertising matches.

The average Rovers supporter is totally p**** off right now. Even J/R will have wait untill the season has ended before relaunching his season ticket stratogy as it has clearly the early bird one has been gone unnoticed . He needs to take a long look at the club and do his best to hand over the running to someone else before it takes what is left of his sanity and flushes IT down the pan. We need to go back to basics and clear out all those who are just not upto the challange . Plan for the Rovers to be in League 1 for about 2 maybe 3 seasons and take only young talent and build a fresh team including managment .

totally agree roverstillidie91. I know the marketing dept are working hard on improving this in the closed season and hopefully you'll see more exciting features  ;)

Haven't got a clue what Rovin Reporters post has to do with the facebook page.

Think he must of clicked on wrong topic lol

and cheers mate just it could make a difference and its free unlike handin out flyers and advertising in pubs, retail outlets etc which costs money

also with the fact some people dont buy a paper (free press) to be aware of their local team and i dont think its to do with people arent interested. We have alot going for us if we can get even if its 1,000 more fans which would make a difference.

I hope it succeeds with whatever the marketing dept have planned

Social Media is huge and has a big influence on people. It's also a great way to involve fans!

The only problem is that it needs constant updating, with tabs full of interactive content. It's the same as the website. news and offers are too slow in being released :headbang:
