I really don't understand the Hayter lovers the only reason I can think of is the goal at Wembley a few goals here and there then apart from that hes hopeless.

Chances of us getting an out and out striker of quality in this league are zero. Over the last several years we've had Billy and Heffs, and before that it was Leo.

The thing about Hayter, is hes not a goalscorer. He works very well with one who is though and in my opinion is a valuable player for us to have at away games.

We were starved of a striker for some seasons in the Championship before we got Billy which was very frustrating and no doubt it'll be a long time before we see someone of his ability in the side again.

I was always expecting a difficult game, think we got back into it and Hayter should have scored at 2-1. Who knows how it would have changed at 2-2.

It does sound like Hayts is lucky to be on the pitch. I'd have subbed him now.
