I'm sure everyone is getting fed up of this thread. But thanks for highlighting my words, it just proves my point. The Rovers and Dons share the same owners, but the Rovers don't own the Dons. They have their own budgets and the Dons contribute financially to the overheads at the Keepmoat. Now, how difficult is that to understand???

And as for accusing me of following someone else's desires, wishes or instruction,then you obviously don't know me at all. I take instruction from no one. How could I possibly represent an organisation with 600,000 members if I didn't have the courage of my own conviction.

Of course Rovers don't own the Dons.
It's just that the people who own Rovers also own the Dons.
That's absolutely crystal clear.
It's probably also obvious that they don't put money into the Dons that would be far better spent on the football team.

I foolishly thought your raison d'etre for posting was to be a mouthpiece for the owners and defend them at all costs.
