Tuesday Night's key fixtures (March 7th, 2017)
« on March 05, 2017, 11:36:10 pm by les@donr »
I know we are not playing, but both games tonight will impact the top of the table.

Plymouth vs Blackpool

Crawley vs Portsmouth

Plymouth don't like Tuesday's, so I'm predicting a Blackpool win.
Crawley battled with us, so I can Pompey taking a draw from this game.

So this is the game we have really been waiting for through our bad patch.  To see if Plymouth can win that outstanding match they have.  Blackpool seem to be on form at the minute having not lost in 4.
For me a draw is the most likely outcome but a pool win would really leave us in control.
It all comes down to this game for me - after our rocky run we could still be sitting pretty!

Even if Plymouth win our fate is in our own hands.  In respect of Plymouth we are realistically looking at title challenger rather than securing promotion.

I think we will win our next 4 - in fact I've just asked the bookie for the odds!

Plymouth have also had a rocky run so they will not be full of confidence right now.
If Blackpool score first.......................

The next 3 games are going to be interesting.
If we win them and I am confident we will and Plymouth only pick up say 3/4 points from 4 games including tonight then we will have a nice gap between us and them going into our match on 26th March.

But football is not played on Forum's it's played on grass (except Newport County)
This is the month I think that will decide the Champions to be.
Come on the Rovers.

We can afford to drop more points within reason than anybody below us and still go up.
Two points less than Plymouth and we are champions.
I fancy them to win tonight pure and simply because they have cocked up so many Tuesdays.
I had the same feeling about Crawley not losing four at home on the trot.
I hope that I'm wrong.

Plymouth Manager blaming the fact they play in green and blend with pitch

Rest easy, lads. I've had a tenner on Plymouth. Guaranteed not to win now.

I could understand him trying that excuse if they were low down but not when you have won or drawn far more than you have lost.
I suppose that they don't play in green away.

If Plymouth loose tonight, they'll have to rework the Boomtown Rats classic, "I don't like Mondays" to "I don't like Tuesdays".

Great if that stays the final result. I'm being greedy but really want Pompey to lose too. Really dislike that club.
