The thing is, that won't continue until the end of the season, and we couldn't score in a brothel

and colchester - who were winning, have conceded late on to throw away two points.

and some have said already - our saving grace could be that those below are far worse than us.

In the last 10 games, Oldham have got 13 points, Crewe 9 and Blackpool and Colchester 7. Donny have got 2. If that form stays the same over the next 10 games we'll get relegated. So the reasoning is there.

Everything could change. Just needs one result to turn the tide.

On the evidence we have all seen over the last ten games, we just aren't going to win again this season. We never look like winning. Simple as that.

It would have been hard, to go there and win with a side full of confidence. As it is we have a side devoid of confidence at the start playing a team that has been getting stronger for a fair few years, pushing for promotion, and we were beaten comfortably.
We didn't allow them to run up a big score they were restricted to not that many on target, and that goal near the end could just be that little spark of life we were looking for!.
I see us getting something from the next game!, a bit more solid performance, Evina put in a few good crosses, just little signs of a result not being far away.

If you went back 20 games we would have a lot more than these,
Current form is 3 or 4 games not 10 or 20, and over 3 or 4 there are a few teams as bad as us

I admire your unwavering positivity so i won't argue. Let's just agree that Tyson's 90th minute goal will be the catalyst to a run of better form.

I didn't go yesterday but judging from Scunthorpe game the problem is the defence and not the midfield. The defence were getting the ball and hoofing it every time, our forwards then attempted to get the ball and failed numerous times which then led to Scunthorpe attacking again which then if we managed to get the ball back we'd hoof it back up, rinse and repeat. The ball rarely went to the midfield and the problem is the defence and probably the whole teams confidence is shot so they're just wanting to get rid as fast as possible. I'm not saying Chaplow, Keegan, etc are amazing, they were bad just it didn't help if we're not keeping it down.

No they don't. Last season's home game was the first time they've beaten us for some time.

Since we came back into the league our record against them has been W. 5, D. 2, L. 2.

More accurately, just a few months ago they absolutely crushed us 4-0.

This is as much down to the midfield as defence if not more, if the defence are going to play out from the back we need midfielders who are comfortable showing for the ball under pressure and brave enough to demand the ball in tight areas
We definitely didn't have that in the midfield against Scunthorpe

If the defence is going to play out from the back we need midfielders who are actually in front of the defence rather than alongside them, or half the time behind them
