Despite it only being a quick interview it was a refreshing interview from a footballer. His enthusiasm seems fantastic and, more importantly, genuine.

Totally agree Crippy. Nice to see such a happy, normal, pleasant lad talking the way he does. Seems a genuine switched on kid who just wants to play football and make the most of his talents without bigging himself up. I really hope he makes it (and we can sell him on for a few million quid!). Well done Joe

Nice to see us loaning players to one of our local sides. Frickley are struggling at the minute, they seem to have a decent season then lose the manager who takes most of the players to his next club. Then the next season is one of struggle and they just about stay up.
It's a decent set up at Frickley they improving things as they can afford them. It's good for Joe as well near to home and he can still train with us.

Actually the players had all left already. Frickley are a club of limited resources and gave it a good cracking last year but this year there aren't many players from last season left. Karl rose resigned after 5 games, and to my knowledge hasn't got another job in the game yet. It's a shame because he's a good manager and gets his team playing for him.

A fella i know who watches them every game has told me it's happened quite a few times over recent seasons. Maybe not with the last guy as you say. I guess it happens regularly at non league level. What do Frickley pay players to play nowadays, does anybody know?.
