Leeds are set to sign Sheffield United striker Billy Sharp for £600,000Tell me it's not true.Phil
\"Grayson has won a wages war with Derby to raid Leeds' Yorkshire rivals for the 24-year-old.\"Am I missing something here! were we not involved in this chase for Billy? The papers seem to think it was/is a two horse race.
Oh well i will be gutted but i have already prepared myself for the inevitable.Looks like we will have to find another striker then from the lower leauges. ah well thanks billy.the glass is still half full. 1 man does not make a team.
I got a call from someone allegedly \"In The Know\" prior to the Brizzle Rovers game that this was being negotiated. But the call was initially to advise of a nailed-on signing by Leeds, a certain Mr M McIndoe, who was actually attending the game.Well, it's got as much credibility as that drivel on the Football Rumours Site.

Just signed on before finishing work for the day...
