Question for stato’s re penalties and rovers

When was the last time rovers were in a penalty shoot out. In any competition.
I can’t remember any.

Not many people take notice of the Papa/ JPT/ etc cup so it isn’t surprising that it is hard to remember any shoot outs in that competition.

 Hound, how could anyone forget Wood's penalty for Leeds  in a shoot out at the Keepmoat.
  If the stadium had not had a roof on it it would have come down with snow on it.

I'm surprised you can't remember that night at the Valley, NR, because it's the only time in many years that we've played brilliantly on TV, and in front of a big crowd.

Of course I can mate but the OP asked when was the LAST TIME that we were involved in a penalty shoot out then Filo mentioned that their might have beenone in the MM cup last season.

Just a point of interest, that pen by Woods went way over me and I was two thirds of the way up the south stand then Wellens himself put away the clinching pen himself.
