Difficult to pick an individual yesterday it was a gritty team performance.
Paynter will obviously attract votes for his 20min cameo but overall I'm going for McCombe a good defensive display and made the 2nd for Billy. I am obliterating the sitter he missed with his head in the 2nd half though.

Voted for Paynter. He won us the game so I think he deserves it.

Will Paynter make the team of the week - from the bench?

Probably - they usually just pick the goalscorers.

Normally I would choose the best performer over the whole 90 mins, but Billy changed the game with his 2 excellent goals.

Can't believe I'm the only one who voted for Brown, still. He won everything up front and was a nightmare for their defence, kept the ball in the corner well in the last few minutes too.

Brown had a great game again, but on this occasion Paynter's brace won the game.

Brown IMHO is a close contender for player of the season, alongside Jones.
