Quid a kid!
« on February 25, 2011, 08:19:24 am by DonnyRTID »
John Ryan states in the free press that tickets for the Watford game are £15 for adults and a quid a kid, not so according to the Keepmoat ticket site. Does anyone know if this is a promotion price game and if so why it is not advertised anywhere.!

It's the QPR game that's quid a kid and 15 for adults, Watford is category 2, so 22 and 25 quid for adults and not quid a kid. I haven't seen the Free Press yet but this sounds like a massive cock up.

I can assure you, on behalf of DRFC, if there is a cock-up its the Free Press's fault, or anyone else, not DRFC marketing!

So how much is it??

John Ryan in the Free Press clearly says we will be admitting people for 15 quid for Watford.

Everywhere else says 22/25 quid

Tickets have been on sale for weeks at £25/22 so changing that now and giving refunds to everyone would be mental.

Seems it is a cock up but don't forget you can purchase 2 tickets for £19.50 with the sun coupons, plus a family of four can go for £30 with the free press voucher.

I heard JR say only £1 for kids on Dee Dah earlier this week. Was going to get one for my Daughter until I checked the Keepmoat website.

Now she'll have to wait until QPR :headbang:

Not good PR again is it?????

P SS U  in a BREWERY Words that come to mind. Bring back the people who used to work on the marketing of games and we might not look like a pub team to everyone. Come on John act like you run a championship club if you want the people to come get your script right

People paying on the day were only charged £15.
Not sure if it was a result of the Free Press statement or if they had all been sold at £15.

If people got in on the day for £15 when others had bought tickets in advance for £25 it's a disgrace!
Oh, wait, it's rovers behind the scenes team.......or, as they're more widely known- Dave \"Beppo the clown\" Morris and his \"On the cheap\" commercial circus.

If what you're saying about the ticketing is true (and you might be wrong?), it's just terrible!! Imagine paying your £25 in the week to find the bloke sitting next to you has turned up and paid £15!! Well done to the Rovers conference standard back room....again.:headbang:

I was in the ticket office on Saturday before the game and a few kids had come in and got tickets for a quid so something has gone amiss....

i think you might have misunderstand what hatfield was saying stu, i think he means that there were no categories for seating, not that the club were selling season ticket seats to pay on the dayers :)

Well it seems i've opened a can of worms which wasn't the intention, i was just trying to get more bums on seats. When JR stated on radio Dee-Dah and in DFP that it was £15 for adults and £1 for kids i couldn't understand why there'd been no mention of it anywhere else.
I did contact the ticket office to clear up the confussion, when i asked about the ticket prices, i was told the full prices but when i mentioned the prices quoted in the press i was told it was an error but if i went down to the ticket office i could fill in a claim form and get a ticket for £15, i asked about kids for a quid but was told it was a school promotion but could get one if purchasing an adult ticket.
