From fp article.

I didn't realise we'd not got schofield anymore, but glad he's got a new job.
Also Amos last call up at u21 level so one less towards International.

Why is it his last call up ? He's only 20.

That's actually a good point, you're eligible until you turn 22. They have 22 year olds in the squad now in fact.

They only have to be under 21 at the start of the qualifying campaign
So this must be the last game of their campaign

Has McSheffrey left as well then?

He seemed to be enjoying the U23 role last year.

Yeah as we don't have an U23 team.

No, he is still involved with the u16s I think and hopefully helps with the  u18s when things return to something like normal, he is a great coach with youngsters

If they’re still 21 when the qualifying campaign begins they can play until the end of the campaign. So countries have players that are 23 playing but they will have been 21 when it started

Having started following Rovers in the early 90's its good to see the players still doing the rounds in management circles. That's Moore, Schofield, Andy Crosby, Russ Wilcox, Graeme Jones all continuing to ply their trade in management and coaching around the League (with varying success). Any more of that team still around?

Yep if they're 21 or under when the next one starts they are eligible for the full campaign. Hence James Milner having about 60 caps for the England U21s.

So technically he could still be involved. However, having seen NI this campaign, the senior squad doesn't look too strong. Perhaps he could get a look in at the seniors with games for us?!

Gary Brabin was in a managers job. Not sure where or what he is doing now.

Yes i meant to include Brabin. Think he worked with Jones for a bit (as did Moore). Don't really follow Prem or International football too closely so was shocked to clock Graeme Jones on the sidelines for Belgium at the WC a few years back!
