Mostly spoken in riddles, as he does in his usual pre/post match interviews.

Can see it ending badly for him. When he gets the inevitable sack, he’ll be back on sky pleading how he was hard done to again no doubt.

Doesn't explain anything. But you wouldn't expect anything different.

His comment about how he got us in a promotion push after being "relegation material" last season is...well it sure is one take on our 2019/20 at any rate.

How does he describe us relegation material? We’d finished 6th before he took over and got within a whisker of Wembley. He then took us to 9th. Not exactly progress.

He’s not endearing himself to Rovers supporters is he?

He mentions that we were relegation favourites when he took over in the Donny Free Press

Ok, the squad had been gutted by McCann before he left but we weren't seriously tipped for relegation were we?

You might not like what i write but he lost me and Pammy when he let Alfie May go ............he also plays people out of position........good riddance .....he wasnt a Donny man after all.

Lets see what Andy can do as i know at least he has Doncaster Rovers in HIS heart

Alfie May? Should we hold on to players who are League Two level just for sentiment?

Crawford surprised me,
May and Crawford are as good as people like simoes, gomes et al

Really shocked given his apparently high principles but strangely not too bothered.  I do think we were overachieving but only because I think the recruitment has been suspect.  Too many of the squad not strong or consistent enough to be genuine top 6 players who could also hold their own in the Championship, and not able to deliver the never changing game plan.  I really hope Andy does well and he has my total support.

No matter who the manager is, I never saw anything from Alfie May to suggest he was a league 1 player, people slag Fej but he’s more prolific then Alfie ever was! Crawford was okay no great loss. Probably both on a par with Simoes but I don’t think he’ll get much of a look in now, just a stop gap when we were short of numbers.
