Urgency please, not tippy tappy at the back.

Poor first half, knocking it around the back four despite losing, having plenty of the ball but not threatening a lot...sound familiar? ;)

Crewe might as well take 9 outfield players off and let us just beat ourselves....

We have a bench full of young ones who could be given a go....pointless not playing them when the current team are looking this bad.....

Not for the first time we are looking low on quality tonight- when we are good we are very good but when we are bad we can be shocking.  Credit to Robertson who has looked pretty good to me since he came on.

We’ve not been able to make a sub since we made our third change on the hour...

Has Richards been told not to shoot?

He’s had 3 options to unleash at least one......he’ll be at Wednesday soon

For as poor as that second half was, if Wright doesn’t make that stupid f**king mistake in his own half we come away with something.

That was pretty bad even considering the shortage of players due to injury, we didn't seem to be able to mark up but the main problem was we kept giving them the ball. Back to basics unfortunately.

Andy butler didn't seem happy with the ref at the end.  Don't think we got much from the ref.

Always a tough ask with no striker mind.

It was always a tough game..... never mind - let's hope the injuries don't bite us...  I'm guessing Butler's honeymoon will be over - watch the usual critics come for him now...

The ref made some odd decisions, and not just against Rovers. Giving free-kicks for nothing tackles and missing other blatent fouls, for both teams.

Robertson played well. Louis Jones had a good game. That's it.

only 1 out of the next 4 games is against oppo in the top half (Oxford), and next game is against relegation threatened Northampton. All to play for this month!

Biggest one for me disallows our goal when no one touched the keeper and then gives no free kick when Jones is clattered at the other end

Its games like this where we need a goal from a set piece and then just hang on. Nights like this are when championships are won.
You mean like the perfectly good one the ref decided to disallow because a Crewe player fouled the Crewe keeper.

We just need to forget tonight we had no striker and then lost our two best players to injury,
People going off on one without considering any of these factors need to have a word with themselves

Very poor game.did we play with ten men?  Seemed like it as Gomes was not in the game. They seemed to win everything and have control of the game.I know we have injuries but we looked a poor second today.

Richards is a great talent, but tonight he didn’t look bothered at all

Controversial opinion perhaps but I'm fed up with him. He trots about, doesn't get after the ball and when he does get it, a lot of the time he runs into three defenders and loses it.

He's obviously got plenty of skill and talent but I'm not sure he's what we need. I feel like Moore nursed him through the season to get the best out of him, but we don't need luxury players in a scrap for the top six in League One.

Weren’t saying that about Richards when he was rolling winners into the net every game 4 or 5 weeks ago.

That was 4 or 5 weeks ago, tonight is what mattered, he didn’t look bothered and was missing for large parts of the game. I like him, I think he is a great talent, but he needs to up his workrate for me

Was actually responding to Alias’s comment tbf. I agree he wasn’t great tonight, but to make the wider statement that he’s “not what we need” I feel is lacking perspective when Richards has been the difference for us in quite a number of games this season.
