Millwall's hammering meant we wouldn't have been bottom anyway. The late Blackpool goal actually meant we've move up!

We will have to be 3-400% better against a very strong Wigan, or it will be a cricket score!
Hoping we raise our game, and shoot, for god sake shoot!

This mirrors that jmt, from a Bournemouth fan after todays game, gotta admire the positive attitude.

Quote
Having just got back I honestly feel that had we had an out and out striker on the pitch in the first half we would have been in front by 2 or 3 goals at half time and it would have been a totally different game in the second half. One which I think we would have won.

Yet another club that "needs a striker"

So many clubs now playing with a packed midfield and one up front suggests to me the problem lies more with formation rather than strikers, wonder how Peter Kitchen would have fared playing up front on his own.

And reports on SSN this afternoon that the Venkys are on their way over to Blighty following Blackburn's bad start to the season.

They might have a new manager before Friday night....

Own goal by Golbourne actually. Nowt to do with Big Jean. Although at 9 foot tall he ought to have done better.
But seriously, he's looked okay thus far. Our problems, like Wednesday's, and yours I guess, are at t'other end.
Wigan dicked us in 2nd gear. I hope Dickov has your lads watch the video of that game, DO NOT play 442.

Only going on the Dee Dah report Whitey, stated that M'voto back headed it and it hit Perkins and went in. We don't play 442 it's more 4231

BBC have got it wrong again then!? Wiseman OG according to them.

Wigan have got a very strong team, just proves their intent and spending power, albeit from parachute payments and the famous FA Cup win, when they're signing Premier League players like Grant Holt for £2million and decent youth such as James McClean.

There's that joke going round that they're called McWigan with all the 'Mc' players they've got!

Wigan also having a handout from their chairman this season, so I heard during the game commentary yesterday. I'd love to see them feck it up.

Local journo at your first game questioned whether M'Voto was at fault at some point for all four of your goals.

C'mon, we all know his judgement is questionable after this summer's events.

The OG was given as Wiseman's by most of the media, despite the fact he was 10 yards away. And despite the fact that both Golbourne and M'Voto are black, and Wisey isn't...
Big Jean chose to try manhandling his man, rather than head clear, and the ball then skewed off Golbourne's afro and into the goal despite Perkins' attempts to head off the line.
.
M'Voto was at fault for one Wigan goal. And whilst there is something there, I have to say at this early stage that he's not looked as good as I'd hoped.
Tis early days, though.
