Do we get a refund

Do the fans get a refund or let in for free if they save their stub. Why should they keep the money for a non game or get paid twice.

Cannot be right under the sale of goods and services act when you buy a ticket you enter into a contract and that was for a full match. The match did not last for the 90 mins that we paid for so there for must be a breach of contract. They have not delivered what we paid for.

My mate went to the Test Match today. A days play is 90 overs.
If less than 10 overs are bowled you get a full refund (about £85 for a day at The Oval) if 10-25 are bowled you get 50% of your money back. If more than 25 overs are bowled you get Jack Shit back.

If it says on the ticket you don't get owt, you won't get owt.
Unless of course Charlton decide 'as a goodwill gesture' to let you in for nothing

I'm guessing Tracy, in her very professional way, has spoken to Charlton already.

Yes i have spoken with Charlton this afternoon, and although it says no refunds on the reverse of the ticket, they have agreed refunds and validity for the rearranged fixture.

What people often overlook in these scenarios is that Charlton Season Ticket holders wouldn't be charged any extra to watch the 'replay'. Its fair to say that buying an ST gives you that insurance if this ever happens but away fans don't get the chance to buy an away ST so we shouldn't be punished as a result.

Credit to both clubs for this gesture and my thanks to Tracey for getting done as quickly as she did.

I bought 4 tickets on the gate, paid cash.  I expect only one of us (me) could get to the rematch, so I need to mail the other 3 to Charlton?

Apart from the result being expunged, it was a great 45 minutes of entertainment!
