Bad goals

I can't recall watching any footy match where there has been a succession of really poor quality goals as we saw on saturday. Their goalie walking backwards into the net plumbed new depths. Good entertaining to and fro though

Their two were the result of scrapping at close quarters and they won the knock- on lotteries , as was Baudry's .
Ben Whiteman deserved one for that almighty strike from outside the box.

Ben certainly buys a ticket for the raffle, doesn't he? I hope it catches on to his team mates - sometimes we want to walk it in.

There is no such thing as a bad goal they all count

Agreed, that Whiteman volley was stunning, good save too. Also, a few great saves by Lawlor.

Sorry Vicar, weak grammar on my behalf. Not bad goals, but poor quality goals. Only 1 of the 4 from Saturday would make it to a DVD and not for the reasons of being good quality.

Mason showed he is capable of getting forward and having a go on Saturday, probably he should have hit the target with a shot on the run from the edge of the box, but hey at least he showed confidence to have a go, something we have not seen a lot off him previously.
He had a good second half when moved across to the right.
