Promises to be interesting.

I wonder what Mr Oyston plans to do about his own protesting fans?

Sue for trespass? If you're already on the property by invitation, validated by possesion of a ticket, how can it be trespass?

The match won't finish on Saturday.
Orient got stung by that behind-closed-doors stunt last weekend and they won't let this lie. Perfect that they're playing Blackpool; both sets of fans should en masse go on the pitch and refuse to leave.
The EFL have been ignoring the issues for too long, something needs to give.

The game will finish or be played again behind closed doors because Blackpool are in a play off position .

The day is being organised as an official day of protest and representatives of all 92 clubs are being asked to join in the protest march. Its officially Judgement Day 3 (JD3). Supporters of all clubs are being asked to meet opposite the Big One and the official route takes it to Bloomfield Road. The Police have been informed and the FSF are given it full support. If any Rovers fan who isn't going to Hartlepool could actually join this protest it would be appreciated;

EFL have granted a request from Blackpool to suspend ticket sales to Orient fans.

How can that be allowed? How?

It's a competition organised by the EFL, they can do whatever they like. However we're expecting a decision tomorrow evening and the Trust at LO will be represented at the meeting.

Needless to say the suspension of ticket sales to Leyton Orient fans (why not all sales, btw?) has set all sorts of hares running on social media.

One rumour was that the game will be played behind closed doors and possibly at a neutral venue. Another is that no away fans will be allowed in and those who have bought tickets will be given refunds (not sure if this would include travel and accommodation costs.)

A temporary suspension until all parties have been consulted probably makes sense- although I can understand why LO fans don't see it that way. However the onus is surely on Blackpool to provide adequate security so the match can be completed safely.

The EFL should punish Dodgy Chairmen instead of the fans, the governing bodies in this Country are a disgrace

We're busy speaking to all parties concerned, meanwhile here's the statement from LOFT;

STARTS

“In short, Loft has stated that the game should go ahead as planned, with Blackpool FC ensuring there is sufficient security in place to prevent pitch incursions from either set of supporters.

"There is nothing to suggest Leyton Orient’s supporters will be anything but peaceful. The pitch invasion protest at their last home match was peaceful in nature, with no violence. There has been no suggestion by the police that public order offences took place, nor were there any arrests for such offences. Indeed, the protest saw protesters on crutches, in mobility scooters and with small children in tow.”

“Leyton Orient and its supporters has no history of violent protest. Our fans have been welcomed by other clubs supporting Loft’s aims, including allowing Orient fans to make collections to our Regeneration Fund at Luton, Cambridge and Tottenham Hotspur.

“Further, there is no history of bad relations between the two clubs, indeed quite the opposite; both sets of supporters took part in a joint peaceful protest march at the reverse fixture last November. This is quite simply an extreme over-reaction by Blackpool FC to one single pitch invasion protest by Leyton Orient supporters. It appears to be a punishment of all Orient supporters at the protest having taken place.”

The governing body continues to bury its head in the sand, it is sad and pathetic. I hope the fans find a way to totally wreck this match because the EFL need taking to task for their shambolic overseeing of the demise of LOFC.

It wouldn't be so bad if they were, at this point they are actively working against the fans. They are more corrupt than FIFA, and no-one can do a thing about it.

Hope even more of the LO fans turn up now,unable to buy a ticket and peacefully protest outside the ground and well before kick off to.Good luck to them and the blackpool fans.

If Blackpool qualify for the play-offs,I hope their fans plan protests for them and their opponents request for tickets not to be sold to them.

Bit of a trek, and not a cheap one, to just go to protest...

Yes your right,,but if they was going in the first place or thinking of going,and now they cannot get a ticket.I hope they'd be more determined to protest.

The Blackpool chairman wants orient to refund all tickets and ban all away fans from going in! Can they do that? Would it not give the home team a advantage on the others?

It would, and there is no way the EFL should entertain this. Although as Shaun Harvey will be making the decisions, I have little confidence in him to do the right thing.

EFL statement just out. LO's allocation reduced to 1,000 but crucially existing sales remain valid.
