I feel sorry for Chris, because he comes over as a really nice guy. He was a great manager for Charlton, but his career seems to have nose-dived ever since.

Lovely, honest chap.
Doesn't buy you wins though I'm afraid.

See Shteeve McClaren gone now
At least he made it to April.
Just.
How many clubs have changed manager now this season? Must be getting close to half of the 92.
i remember early in the season people on here were expecting him to get the sack as they were near the bottom -- then he amazed us as they hit a hot streak
this was his highest point of thre season just 2 points off the play offs after beating brentford 3-2 at home

"Brentford have lost four of their five matches under Thomas Frank since Dean Smith's departure for Aston Villa, and the new head coach suffered another blow when the Championship's top scorer Maupay was carried off on a stretcher with a head injury just before the break.
QPR's recent good run had been built on an improving defence which had conceded just twice in their previous six league outings, but they had struggled for goals this season with just three players scoring more than once in the league before the visit of the Bees.
But having found the net just 13 times in 16 games, Rangers were indebted to an unlikely goal blitz shortly after the break, allowing Steve McClaren to celebrate his Championship manager of the month award for October with another victory."
they had 26 points from 17 games then
now they have 44 points from 39 games
meaning from their "highest position" they got 18 points from 22 games
QPR sent the "Chair" out on loan early this season now they have removed McClaren from the "Manager's Chair" :chair:
