Well I'd like to ask a few Irish folk who they would prefer in their team.

Wont that be appealing to emotion? If they saw paul for us they might have a balanced view.

Healy 7 years ago was incomparable to Heffs, but now?

As the name suggests I am in Dublin and the majority of lads here on site are from the north and the general view of Healy is very poor after he signed i nine times out of ten got greeted with why have you got that lazy usless !\"£$ please use any abusive words you can think of.

No comparison for me, it is not down to luck that Healey has played at better clubs, been his countries top scorer & moved to a Premiership club (not had the best of times there granted). Both players lack pace but on the occasions I have seen Healey he is much more intelligent in his play than Heffs is or was. Loved Heffs for us in League 1 but in the Championship, & apart from his purple patch when the team began to play well from the Forest game onwards, he struggled. Often caught in possession, flat footed a lot of the time, &, in my opinion of course, didn't do enough of the dirty work for the team, ie putting defenders under pressure.

That said he has been a great goalscorer in his time with us & is another player that has helped take this club forward since the dark, & for that we should be grateful. There are however reasons why he is warming Wednesdays bench in League 1 rather than playing regularly in the Championship.

They're surely the same lad, Carling Associates.  But that said what else would we be doing on a Sunday night?  (Don't answer that Nudga.)

For me: Heffs great club servant, 100% respect for the man, deserves better than the Wednesday reserves but not quite up to it week in week out in a team pushing for the Prem (US!) but great memories of the lad's exploits and fair play to the fella.
