anyone tell me official attendance for the newqport game, looked all over the web cant find answer, used to show on bbc site but not there, anyone know the official attendance not some guestimate please

Yep that's the figure Alan Smith was showing around the press box yesterday.
Around 260 I believe from Newport.

So nearly a 1000 more home fans than the Yeovil game which was only £10 to get in. Price is obviously not the issue then

There was 2 coaches from Newport that turned up as I was getting into the car park.

So nearly a 1000 more home fans than the Yeovil game which was only £10 to get in. Price is obviously not the issue then

Two things. The Yeovil game was on Bank Holiday Saturday. Unless we have a local derby we're always likely to get a below par crowd given other attractions. Last season, when we played Fleetwood on the corresponding Saturday we got our lowest home Saturday gate.

Secondly the publicity about Copps- and the 5-1 win at Morecambe - probably encouraged a few floaters along. Let's hope they were happy with what they saw. In terms of building momentum with the crowds, it doesn't help that we're away the next two Saturdays.

There was 2 coaches from Newport that turned up as I was getting into the car park.
There were 4 coaches parked outside away end when I walked by. If full that left very few making their own travel arrangements.

BBC do show it look at the bottom underneath the line up.
