If you don't mind getting the tram, Meadowhall.

As for pubs, have a look on here - https://footballgroundguide.com/leagues/england/championship/hillsborough-sheffield-wednesday.html. There's a section for pubs for away fans. Similar info for every club in the league and more. You can also offer information they can add to the guide if you know anything that isn't on there.

There used to be places on the industrial sites across from the ground but not sure if you are allowed now

Might be worth just checking on the status of the Trams for anyone planning to use them. They had a reduced service for Tramlines.

I generally park near the Forty Foot pub. Presume it’s still there but don’t know the parking situation around there these days.

Not last season but the season before, a new traffic management system was introduced before and after all games at Hillsborough.

I'm assuming that's still in operation as it was tied into their safety certificate. It means the closure of the main road and other roads and no traffic is allowed to flow until the foot traffic is clear.

I'll check it out.

If you dont mind an uphill hike Cookson or Wordsworth are off Herries Rd

Ive used them before and last time I went by on a match day Owls fans were pouring in there

New Barrack Tavern seems to let away fans in - towards Sheff on Penistone Road is where I would go based solely on the Beer

If this is anything like the Tramlines festival recently, I can confirm they close off Penistone Road (Main road outside the stadium) until foot traffic clears

The last time that I went there I parked off the A61 at Kilner way shopping outlet.
It’s a short walk to the ground from there to the Railway pub and to the ground, it was easy to get back on to the main road because the junction is traffic light controlled.

9 mins - half a mile

Just wanted to say thanks for this, we aimed for your link and parked on the side of one of the roads up the hill. :)
