I hope that you are right but football has a way of upsetting the odds. We just need to carry on where we left off and hope that the result follows.
Thanks for the read Fuzzy. :scarf:

Same team as Saturday. I'd take the same result as well! I like Fuzzy's prediction but think 4 away from home is always optimistic.

Apparently they've made 4 changes, including 3 youth teamers starting! Hopefully that proves to be a rash move and our experience will shine through. It does make things a little more unpredictable though.
Title: Re: Carlisle v Rovers
Post by: RoversAlias on November 20, 2012, 07:38:34 pm
McGinty dropped to the bench, they're without star striker Lee Miller as well as Rory Loy and ex-Rover Danny Cadamarteri. But Joe Garner does play the last game of his loan spell.

I really think they're there for the taking tonight. Abbott is under immense pressure and another defeat here will probably see him get sacked. Hopefully we can prove our usual resilient selves on the road.

Maybe Michael Woods is fit enough to get 30 mins in the second half if the score is right.

Exactly right - and that's what worries me! Hopefully though we're our usual professional selves and get the points, but I have a bad feeling about tonight for some reason. It just seems like one of those games you can't lose, but then you do. Prove me wrong Rovers!

We got a last minute equaliser at Hartlepool no easy games !

We made the top 6 for a minute on the BBC site until Crawley kicked off! 3 points tnight and Rovers are in the shake up, roll on the extra game at Oldham.

Go through another clubs' website (e.g. Carlisle) and Rovers commentary works. Not sure why but at least it's available somewhere.

From what I'm hearing, that was a hopeful effort that never should've gone in. It was a routine save. If not fumbling every single shot that comes at you into the back of the net is enough to be a professional keeper in the 3rd tier of English football, I'll have to quit my job and become a goalkeeper, apparently expectations of what a good keeper should be are at an all-time low.

2-0 at HT anyway, sounds like a good, professional performance in what could be a banana skin. How much have we missed Cotts?

That's what it's like with keepers sadly. Every little mistake is blown up and highlighted. Woods is doing very well this season, although he was the major fault for our 1-0 defeat against Bournemouth.
