I hope that you are right but football has a way of upsetting the odds. We just need to carry on where we left off and hope that the result follows.
Thanks for the read Fuzzy. :scarf:
-
Same team as Saturday. I'd take the same result as well! I like Fuzzy's prediction but think 4 away from home is always optimistic.
-
Same team and subs as Saturday.
-
Good - you should never change a winning team!
COYR
:scarf:
-
Apparently they've made 4 changes, including 3 youth teamers starting! Hopefully that proves to be a rash move and our experience will shine through. It does make things a little more unpredictable though.
-
McGinty dropped to the bench, they're without star striker Lee Miller as well as Rory Loy and ex-Rover Danny Cadamarteri. But Joe Garner does play the last game of his loan spell.
I really think they're there for the taking tonight. Abbott is under immense pressure and another defeat here will probably see him get sacked. Hopefully we can prove our usual resilient selves on the road.
-
Maybe Michael Woods is fit enough to get 30 mins in the second half if the score is right.
-

Exactly right - and that's what worries me! Hopefully though we're our usual professional selves and get the points, but I have a bad feeling about tonight for some reason. It just seems like one of those games you can't lose, but then you do. Prove me wrong Rovers!
-
Me worried as well.
We got a last minute equaliser at Hartlepool no easy games !
-
We made the top 6 for a minute on the BBC site until Crawley kicked off! 3 points tnight and Rovers are in the shake up, roll on the extra game at Oldham.
-
Anybody else getting no commentaries from Player? Same on Chrome and IE.

Anybody else getting no commentaries from Player? Same on Chrome and IE.
Go through another clubs' website (e.g. Carlisle) and Rovers commentary works. Not sure why but at least it's available somewhere.

:scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :woohoo:
-
1up :)
-
Get in Captain Marvel :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:
-
Knickers, I nip out the room for 5 minutes and miss a goal! Am I to assume it was a header?
-
And nearly 2, 30 seconds later
-
Knickers, I nip out the room for 5 minutes and miss a goal! Am I to assume it was a header?
Yep. Bullet header from a Cotterill corner.
-
2 cotts :)
-
So one attempt, one goal? Shall take that!
-

Yep. Bullet header from a Cotterill corner.
Nice one! Woods tests the keeper, hopefully we can keep up this pressure and get another!
AND WE DO! COTTS WONDER GOAL! :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
-
How good are we away from homw, unbelievable tekkers!
-
Cotts... 2-0
-
2-0 Cotterill!
We've had about 4 or 5 chances already!
-
Get in cotts :woohoo:
-
2 Cotterill
COYR
-
cheeky lob from edge of area
-
:woohoo: :woohoo:
-
This has the makings of a really good win, setting up nicely for the game against Scunny.
-
Could do with MK Dons and Swindon dropping points now!
:scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:
-
woods flapping
-
Another worrying moment for Woods in goal flapping at a cross again... and Jones down injured? Apparently just winded though.
-
Why did nobody mention Woods' excellent alertness when he tipped the shot from nothing over the top - but your're straight there when he flaps?
-
I wished Woods would have more confidence, catch the frigging ball ffs.......I don't get it. Anyway 2-0 and we need to push on :scarf:
-
FFS how many goals have we let in by a goalkeeping mistake? Just one? And how many clean sheets has Woods had?
-

Gary Woods the new Lewis Guy?
COYR
-
Exactly Hoola - Stick to the positives 2:0 up Woods has done OK. They're having a spell at the mo. We could do without it but heigh ho
-
woods flops on a weak header , first attempt on target 44mins
-
FFS how many goals have we let in by a goalkeeping mistake? Just one? And how many clean sheets has Woods had?
And how many chances have the strikers missed and lost us game - remember its a team game
COYR
:scarf:

Blunts were winning 2-0... 2-2 now
-
Am I right in saying that if we score first this season, we win?
-
Good Half..... More of the same please :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:
-
Why did nobody mention Woods' excellent alertness when he tipped the shot from nothing over the top - but your're straight there when he flaps?
From what I'm hearing, that was a hopeful effort that never should've gone in. It was a routine save. If not fumbling every single shot that comes at you into the back of the net is enough to be a professional keeper in the 3rd tier of English football, I'll have to quit my job and become a goalkeeper, apparently expectations of what a good keeper should be are at an all-time low.
2-0 at HT anyway, sounds like a good, professional performance in what could be a banana skin. How much have we missed Cotts?
-
Dont want to tempt fate but no way will this team throw a 2 goal lead away.Drinkies and a bit of r & r me thinks.
-

If we don't win now, we know who to blame!

:scarf:
Precisely, but every time Woods even gives a hint of a mistake it gets highlighted on here...
-
Sounds alright just needs a third to kill it. Sounds much more balance with cotts and woods out wide.

That's what it's like with keepers sadly. Every little mistake is blown up and highlighted. Woods is doing very well this season, although he was the major fault for our 1-0 defeat against Bournemouth.
-
martis for jones
-
What's up with Jones like?
-
crewe 3 sheff utd 2
-
They think it's precautionary
-
just noticed no home teams winning in league 1 again!
Maybe our home form is not such a worry just a thought?
-
crewe 3 sheff utd 2
3-3 now. Sounds like quite a game over there!
-
Punching when it's easier to catch keep pressure on. He can't keep getting away with it. Except tonight of course.
-
Come on Crewe............ ;)
-
Listening to Carlisle commentary, they're saying we're playing good stuff with championship quality players all over the park. Saying their only hope is to pump balls into our box and test the keeper...
-
We sitting back again away from home. It's a lot easier to cope with when you're there watching, commentary makes me panic everytime Carlisle get the ball in our half.

that's why i put the unsure face
-
Looking at other results we must get a win here, gonna be a long tweety minutes.
-
Bugger, sat back, time to wake up
Why are we sitting back, should be keeping possession and trying to create chances not inviting them onto us
-

And it's cost us dear!! Bollox come on Rovers..............
-
That Symington has looked busy all night for them by the sounds of it.
-
Not sure if them scoring a free kick from 35 yards has much to do with us 'sitting back'.
-
mk dons losing up to 4th
-
3rd now haha
-
It's gone from easy to can we hang on
-
Be so big if we can move into the top 4 with two extremely winnable home games in the next week.

8 out of 8 after tonight.
-
Chris Brown almost made it 4-1.
-
I can't recall any of our strikers having an attempt at goal yet.
Aye.
I once got a gobble off a lass that looked like Beatrice Dalle. But she wouldn't stick her finger up me arse. Int life a bitch eh?
-
kin ell. 3rd place wi a match in hand as the scores stand on 80 minutes.
-
Cotterill needs a big pat on the back for his contribution tonight. One goal and two assists, you can't ask for much more.
-
kin ell. 3rd place wi a match in hand as the scores stand on 80 minutes.
Imagine if we could sort out home form out.

I'm imagining that lass who looked like Beatrice Dalle. I'd take the odd stuffing at home (ahem) for another chance there...

Carlisle comentators praising Donny's quality play at times
-
Aye.
I once got a gobble off a lass that looked like Beatrice Dalle. But she wouldn't stick her finger up me arse. Int life a bitch eh?
THAT is the best post of the match
-
How does Shelton Martis get into a position to be flagged offside?
-
Christ up above. I've just Googled a photo of Beatrice Dalle. She looks like Pete Burns these days. There's obviously no God.
-
Shame it wasn't Pete Burns giving you the gobble - bet he would have stuck his finger up your arse...
-
Chuffing 'ell Wilts.
I've just spat White Lightning all over me laptop.
-
I notice it's gone quiet.
And Google have reported an unusual spike of "Beatrice Dalle Pictures" requests from DN postcode areas.
-
I bet Pete Burns would put his finger up BST's arse :chair:
-
MK Don score
-
All over, well played boy's :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

Good result tonight - will mean nothing if we do not beat Scunny on Saturday

Am I right in saying that if we score first this season, we win?
Adam
8 out of 8 after tonight.
Cheers Mr bst, I thought so, if Deano has done nothing else right, he's taught the boys how to hang onto a lead. Summat sod wasn't the best at...
Top 4, game in hand.. happy days..
