Today’s team
COYR
-
The weakness of the midfield is there to see. No tacklers let’s see
-
Who is Lirak Hasani?
-
Who is Lirak Hasani?
Under 18 midfielder
-
Hirani is an under 18 player. Not sure how good but probably on the bench for the experience
-
He must be quite good just to make the first team squad.
-
Good morning everyone, a very tough game, but if we are serious in being in the play-offs, one we need to get something from, a win would be very nice!
-
Who's Hirani?
-
I might have been tempted to try Downing in to replace Whitman, he can tackle and play a bit.
-
Who's Hirani?
He is Hasani.
-
This could be a feisty game, Lewis already in the book. Is it looking that way?
-
Crowd got him booked. Was a nothing tackle. Rovers doing well.
-
possession 69% in our favour.
-
A Luton player has gone off with a knee injury.
Early substitution.
-
possession 69% in our favour.
On sky Ameobi said it was all Luton!
-
Too many fouls already. one might be costly.
-
Very good chance for JM.
Saved by the keeper.
-
Very even game. Marquis just had a great chance and hit a tame shot.
-
Blackpool one up.
-
Luton score.
-
Shit
-
It was coming
Need to react now not good enough so far
-
33' Goal Luton. Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu drives a low shot into the far corner of Marosi's goal. 1-0 #DRFC #LUTDON
Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu has been outstanding all game. LuaLua flicks it into his path and he curls it into the bottom left corner from 25 yards to give the Hatters the lead! 1-0 #COYH

-
I fear this could be a drubbing now
-
Weak goal. Luton have put more pressure on the last 10 minutes, but we’re still on this.
-
Radio commentary saying that Luton are just playing through our midfield.
Sounds like we are seriously missing Herbie and Ben, as we thought we would.
-
It was coming
Need to react now not good enough so far
What did we expect with the midfield we have today. Two best players out
-
Corner to Rovers, Butler heads just wide.
-
Home crowd oddly quiet for the most part. Weird.
-
possession 69% in our favour.
On sky Ameobi said it was all Luton!
It has been all Luton for the last ten or so minutes.
-
We need a goal before HT.
-
………….or, if Luton don't score another, we need a goal before the end of the game.
Peterbro just scored.
-
Rovers down to 7th.
-
That nice AFC Wimbledon keeper just made a howler.
-
Matty picks up a yellow card.
-
That nice AFC Wimbledon keeper just made a howler.
Ha, good.
What has he done.
-
Crawford playing in front of the back four. Looks lost.
-
That nice AFC Wimbledon keeper just made a howler.
Ha, good.
What has he done.
Spilled an easy ball that then trickled into the net.
Wimbledon go from 1-0 up to 1-2 down in 3 minutes.
-
We’ve lost all shape at the moment. Second to the ball and muscled out of it.
-
That nice AFC Wimbledon keeper just made a howler.
Ha, good.
What has he done.
Spilled an easy ball that then trickled into the net.
Wimbledon go from 1-0 up to 1-2 down in 3 minutes.
Marvellous, he deserves that.
-
HT, Glad to get in only one down.
We need to get a bit of steel into midfield.
-
Half time 1-0, still in this game..... just
COYR
-
Rovers not playing bad, but we’re up against a pretty good team here. They’re definitely winning the midfield battle.
-
Not a game to be playing 4-3-3 with Whiteman and Kane missing. Fortunately we made it to half time only 1-0 down.
-
Matty picks up a yellow card.
I make that our 99th yellow of the season (including the double yellow). Who'll pick up the 100th? Hopefully neither Lewis or Blair.
-
Rovers not playing bad, but we’re up against a pretty good team here. They’re definitely winning the midfield battle.
Agree with that HA.
Our problem is that we don't have much in the way of mid field options to make a difference today.
Our defence to attack options are in the way of a long ball right now.
We need to start getting the ball into feet to Copps in particular.
-
Crawford playing in front of the back four. Looks lost.
Crawford playing anywhere on a football field looks lost .
-
Would it be worth going to a 442?
-
Would it be worth going to a 442?
Even 4-5-1 would give us a good chance to stay in the game and try to nick an equaliser.
-
Would it be worth going to a 442?
Copps is already spending more time in midfield than up top.
-
Crawford playing in front of the back four. Looks lost.
He looks lost in any postion in midfield yet GM thinks he’s ok.
-
Bit unfair I guess it’s his turn to be the scapegoat
-
If both are out for any length of time we will struggle to get a win.
-
That nice AFC Wimbledon keeper just made a howler.
he needs to "get a grip" :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

My opinion on him as not changed all season so not a scapegoat not good enough

🏟 ATTENDANCE | A huge thank you to all 10,071 inside Kenilworth Road today, including the 544 who have made the trip south from @drfc_official. Today’s crowd is the 3rd biggest of the season after Portsmouth & Wycombe, but the highest number of home fans (9,527)! 👏 #COYH

-
2-0.
-
2-0. Done.
-
Piss poor defending
-
57' Goal Luton. Danny Hylton gets on the end of a Luke Berry cross to double the home side's advantage. 2-0 #DRFC #LUTDON
Unreal from Stacey there as he gets past three Doncaster players before pulling it back across goal, Berry picks it up, shoots, and Hylton pokes it over the line from close range! 2-0 #COYH

If both are out for any length of time we will struggle to get a win.
We won’t be playing Luton every week..
-
Next goal needs to be us if we want anything from it
-
We really lack backbone at times. We never appear to be able to dig it out. Fair enough we are missing two key players but you can still make yourself hard to beat and set up to be solid
-
Peterbro 2-0 up.
Coventry just gone behind to Oxford.
-
Oxford 1 up against Coventry.
-
Listening to Dee Dah is really frustrating, Walker automatically becomes an opposition fan whenever we play.
-

The manager has got us into a top six challenging position so it cant be so bad.
Sadlier coming on for Rowe.
Smith on for Wilks.
-
Listening to Dee Dah is really frustrating, Walker automatically becomes an opposition fan whenever we play.
No he doesn't.
He still loves the club.
-
According to the commentary we are not in the game.described as being like the Alamo.
-
Need a miracle now they are shooting for fun.
-

We are away against top of the league missing two of our best players this season and certainly our two toughest midfielders..
-
According to the commentary we are not in the game.described as being like the Alamo.
It is right now but we are playing the best side in the division and we have two of our best players missing.
-
I think the ref should put another ball on , so we can have a kick.
-
at least it's only 1-0 on sky
-
at least it's only 1-0 on sky
Unbelievable jeff.
-
We leak goals away from home, 31 in 20, with our last away clean sheet coming on the 8th December.
We are still yet to win a game 1-0 this season, home or away.
When we're good, we're good. But we couldn't scrap our way out of a paper bag.
-
3 nil
-
3-0.
-
3 nil
no it isn't.
-
Phew...
-
Nope 2-0. Chalked off.
-
When we're good, we're good. But we couldn't scrap our way out of a paper bag.
How do you think we beat Luton at home then.??
-
If both are out for any length of time we will struggle to get a win.
We won’t be playing Luton every week..
Our midfield without Whiteman and especially Kane is no better than last season.
-
A 16 year old coming on for us.
-
Hasani coming on for his debut.
Lewis off.
Blair to RB.
-
Luton are simply better than us. Yes Herb and Ben a huge miss but they’ve not allowed us to play. Very strong side. Sometimes you just have to take your hat off and acknowledge a better team.
-

No shit, Sherlock.!

Correct.
Some people just cant understand that.
-
A 16 year old coming on for us.
A great day out for Lirak whatever the score.

Credit to McCann for trusting him to do a job.
-
Listening to Dee Dah is really frustrating, Walker automatically becomes an opposition fan whenever we play.
I really can't listen to him, utter cringeworthy.
-

Yeah, a bit of a surprise, but good luck to the lad.
-
He’s doing very, very well. Useful prospect.

Why do you say that.
All I can hear him doing is summarising what we all know is happening.
We are getting battered at present.
What is he supposed to say, that we are f**king Barcelona.
-

Good to hear
-
Game over
-
It was coming.
Luton are very good.
-
82' Goal Luton. LuaLua gets away from his defender and finishes his one-on-one with Marosi. 3-0 #DRFC #LUTDON
Donny attack, Butler and Pearson come together and go to ground, Butler tries to stop Matty getting back into position by lying on top of him, the Hatters counter with Stacey, he plays it through the gap where Butler should be and LuaLua finds the bottom left corner! 3-0 #COYH

Worth the win as well Luton. They’ve made us look bang average today.
-
Worth the win as well Luton. They’ve made us look bang average today.
But we are without are beat right back and two best midfield players.
-
Sorry, still stand by my point earlier. We’ve been pathetic today and have just gave them space to play. Tactically naive doesn’t even come close
-
Blackpool 4-0 up at Bradford.
-
The stats make very poor reading.
-
They could have won by 6 or 7. We've ended up desperately hoofing it up. Lirak's done well like. Surprised Greaves wasn't brought with.
-
The stats make very poor reading.
Don't read them then.
-
Worth the win as well Luton. They’ve made us look bang average today.
But we are without are beat right back and two best midfield players.
We're playing the only two players we own who can play right back.
-
We were tonked!
-
Yes, it sounds like it has been a demolition.
-
We were tonked!
….by far and away the best team in the league.
No shame in it.
-
I can’t in all honesty say that we’ve played poorly today. We’ve just been beaten by a very good team. Lutons second half performance is the best I’ve seen by any team this season.
-
4-0.
-
90+2' Goal Luton. Luke Berry makes it four with his shot from distance. 4-0 #DRFC #LUTDON

-
I will be surprised if Luton don't get to 100 points this season.
-
Matty picks up a yellow card.
I make that our 99th yellow of the season (including the double yellow). Who'll pick up the 100th? Hopefully neither Lewis or Blair.
Trust Copps to mop up that accolade on top of all his others.
-
Coventry lost at home.
The biggest issue today is a six goal swing in goal difference between us and peterbro.
-
Well Tuesday is going to be interesting and not easy. Need to get back to winning ways soonest (no shit Sherlock)

I just can't stand his summary & his embarrassing attempts at humour, can't stomach the bloke.
-
GM said he had the players to step up with the loss of Whiteman and Kane although we played against the best side in the league today proved we haven’t.
Let’s hope at least one is available for Tuesday otherwise excuses will be made again.

Sometimes I think McCann is deluded when he comes out with comments like that, we don't have players that can step up, far from it.

COYR
Yes, so basically Tuesday is a MUST WIN game, and the knowledge of that is in itself a pressure builder. I hope ( and believe) we have the squad to win on Tuesday & it wouldnt be before time either.

Listening to Dee Dah is really frustrating, Walker automatically becomes an opposition fan whenever we play.
He is so bitter that he didn't make it as a pro footballer.
