Title: Keshi Anderson returns!
Post by: karldew on January 16, 2017, 09:02:38 pm
..to palace!. Would he fit in if brought back?. Be a decent replacement of we lost any of our strikers this window. Would the Alfie May transfer of happened if Keshi was available before now?..

Think he would be a good player to have but i would rather us play our own players.

If mandeville had been out for the season i would be straight in for him but as he is due back anytime and also we have May i think it would be overkill to try and slot him in

No need at the moment, would be very loath to upset the balance and team spirit right now.

If we could sign him on a permanent deal then yes. Not for me on loan though. Would rather see Alfi May play. Keshi would limit his game time and may see Liam not play as often.  I like the way we are going about transfers under Fergi. Get good young players who although may cost a fee we will get that back and some after a good season or two. Young players will be looking at the youngsters at Barnsley and will want the same. No point playing for liverpool or man u development teams. Get out play every week with men if your good enough you will soon get spotted. Bournemouth got almost to the prem buy signing the beat young l2 l1 players. Some still there now.

Have to agree with Red Wizard. Like with Lawlor, if there was an opportunity for a permanent transfer and it was a good deal for the club then bring him in, otherwise no need with our current options, and it would seem especially unfair on Alfie May.

I really rate Keshi and am sad it hasn't worked out for him at Bolton. Hope he can have a good rest of the season be that in the Palace U23s or back out on loan at L1/2 level.

Bring Kesh in and loan out maybe Beestin/May? Say Anderson became available on a permanent deal.. would we say yes or no? Definitely yes if it is a loan or permanent.

He was a class act last season, in my opinion his injury part contributed to us getting relegated. Would give us a pacey skilful striker. Mandeville isn't exactly blessed with pace.

Anyone who thinks we shouldn't sign him on loan or on a permanent deal needs to see a shrink!!

It was always on the cards that he would go to a League One club. Could be worth a look at a permanent move if we go up though.
