It’s a sad world lots of people including myself compare themselves to people worse off, we might debate on messageboards that it’s unfair but in reality that’s all we do we don’t do much about it

There's a clear choice if you do want to help in redistributing the wealth of the nation in a fairer way, many posts by others show what is required. How are they going to help the worse off?
Don’t be ridiculous labour or tories have not said how they will help the worst off, food banks will be a thing of the past labour have said yet won’t say how that will happen, me voting labour is not going to get rid of food banks is it?
What are Labour going to do about the workshy under class?Let em get pregnant at 16 give them a three bed Council house,Pay em the equivalent of the the minimum wage, so the can bring little, Tyler etc up to be drug dealers?

The reason we have had an explosion in food banks is that there are many more people working for wages which are simply not enough to live on, and the benefits safety net has been gradually withdrawn. No party is going to fix that overnight. But different parties in power send the country off in different directions. The state of our current society, the good and the bad, in many ways comes from decisions made a generation ago.We decided in the late 1970s to have a society in which there was less control over what the very richest earn, and less of a safety net for the very poorest. That change didn't happen overnight, but it's the direction we've been travelling in for a generation now. And that's why the proportion of the national cake that the richest 1% takes is now 50% greater than it was in 1975. And it's why 1.6million people (many of them working) have to use food banks. That change didn't happen overnight. It took 40 years. It will take 40 years to fix it, if we start right away. Or, alternatively, think where the country will be if we keep the same path for the next 40 years. The question now is, are you happy with that. Do you want to live in a country run by a Govt that does or does not prioritise changing that over the next generation?

Bpool. They've said pages and pages about it here.https://labour.org.uk/manifesto/tackle-poverty-and-inequality/ none of that will help the worst off thou as I keep saying it will help people that are not on any benefits, every bit of money that you get over what the minimum is your allowed to live on gets taken off you so no it doesn’t solve anything the same people will be using food banks
bst at the minute labour have not said they will make it any better for the worse off, how have labour said they will change it?
Bpool.https://labour.org.uk/manifesto/tackle-poverty-and-inequality/#4it does not state how much it would cost to scrap universal credit the ifs seem to think it will cost billions to start a new benefit system from scratch, again they set a higher living wage that means many people will just give up work as they will be better off on benefits, you say Labour’s plans are not reckless at the minute the ifs say the figures don’t add up would you agree?
The free dental checks are so that dentists can spot problems earlier before they cost £500.As for what help is being given to the poorest people now - the best and most useful help that can be given to them is by getting rid of the harsh and uncaring government that put them into that poverty.
