kin ell
He thinks Spurr and Jones are the slowest and most cumbersome centre backs in the division? Has he never seen Antony Kay?
This was Kay playing for Barnsley against Coppinger, Green and McIndoe a few years back.

Right at the very end of the clip is the challenge on Coppinger that saw him get sent off at BV in that annihilation that we served up back in 2005. And apparently he really does have that plug in the back of his heel.

Slowest and most cumbersome in the league?? How about the best centre half in the league. Wouldn't swap jones with anybody.

Very good article and can't disagree with any of it apart from Spurr and Jones being the slowest (although Jones must be up there). If opposition fans have already figured us out you'd have thought opposition managers have, let's hope Dean has a few more tricks up his sleeve to change the game.

That's a tactical report of our side that someone has done by reading match reports, not from watching the team. Spurr is not cumbersome, a lot less so than McCombe.

If they are the same two slow and cumbersome players that have got us to 6th in the league with a game in hand lets have more of them.
