Let me guess without reading it.

"We dominated possession. Silly mistakes. No luck"

Does that sound about right?

We dominated, they had the rub of the green

Referee should be sacked

They time-wasted

Long ball tactics

You dont have to read it - you can listen to it.
What I find slightly amusing is that Curle and the interviewer talk about the only two shots that they had yet the BBC stats on the same page show them having 9 off target and 5 on?

Perhaps he means proper efforts on goal. As we are all well aware, the stats don't always reflect how many of the shots were actually worthy efforts, and how many were miles off target or straight at the goalkeeper. ;)

I can't actually recollect Woods making a single save today, a couple of routine catches and punches but nothing like a proper goal saving save.

No, go on lads, have a listen. But not to Curle...to the BBC Interviewer...I've seldom heard a better example of POOR interview technique. Long, rambling questions and the use of terminology and style more akin to BBC Radio 4 than to a football manager interview.

And worse, Exile, he gives the answer he expects in the question he asks! Plain dreadful interviewing.

I'd like to thank Keith Curle. Taking off a centre half and putting on Lee Hughes opened up the game and allowed us to get into it. Woeful decision for them, great for us.
