The Dingles.
-
Makes you wonder if us signing Sharp killed a move for him off....
-
Likely he was option number 2....
-
Smokescreen for Billy?
-
Wasn't the smokescreen created by us though?
-
Mmmmmmmmmmm....... Proschwitz or Billy? ..............Proschwitz or Billy? ................. Could it ever be any contest?
Welcome home Billy!!
:clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

No contest, but still a great signing by the dingles!
-

No ambition this board we should have signed both :woot: ;)

Put my prediction of him signing up the creek :s Andy Giddins tweets are shocking just goes to show best laid plans and all that other b*llocks that I listen to are a waste of time. Still got billy sharp though RTID :rtid:

Just spoke to the Barnsley Trust. They're a bit underwhelmed.
-
Do Barnsley actually have a scouting network? They just seem to keep an eye out for players we're after and then sign them. SCWK, get your CV in as our six fingered friends clearly need a scout.

Their new CEO is an ex-agent, he should be able to find his own players.

Were you after Liam Lawrence, Brek Shea and Ryan McLaughlin as well?
You dodged a bullet with M'voto, mind. Don't get me wrong, for 90% of a match he looks the ideal centre half. But 10% of the time he's pulling folk's shirts, miscuing clearances and standing in the worst positions possible. The gret numpty. Thankfully, Danny has sussed him. He's not even on the bench anymore.
The re-re-signing of Sharp is a huge boost for you, both on and off the field I imagine. He loves the banter does Billy, so it makes our upcoming fixture a tad spicier. Look forward to it.
I'm pleased with Proschwitz, as are most of us on our forum. He's got 51 goals in 98 starts through his career. 7 in 12 starts at Hull. Not a bad record, and we're Barnsley, we can't afford to be picky.
See you soon. Kind of. :)

Comes with experience. ;)

Wikipedia reckons he has 3 goals in 29 for hull. Not a good record
-
His record overall including foreign clubs he has played for is 0.41 goals per game.
Billy's record overall, but he has played considerably more games in the championship than Nick is 0.43 goals per game.

Thankfully not. Did you see Lawrence's penalty in the 2005 League2 playoff final at Wembley for Mansfield? One of those "I know, I'll be dead clever and just dink it down the middle" jobs.... that didn't quite come off.

When you lose to some of the teams that we lost to in the Conference you really know how to take it.
Here's hoping that we both play each other next season in the Championship. ;0)
