Their First Goal
« on September 21, 2014, 12:25:06 pm by bobbymax »
Looked to be stood well offside from where I was sat in the south east corner and I have't changed my mind seeing it on the FL Show. That said, I thought McCombe was off as well but maybe not looking at the replay.

I wasn't at the game but when I saw it on FLS I straight away thought offside

Sat right in line, offside by several yards.

I thought offside at the time but looking at highlights looked to be inside at the time both shot

McCombe was onside as I was bang in line and watching. I'd followed the shot for their first so couldn't tell at the time. Despite the angle of the TV coverage I'd still say he looked offside unless there was another player out of shot on our right side playing him on as he looked to be just goal side of our CBs

Not been much said about Copps getting flattened in area
Challenge by their 16 on Furman worthy of a straight red or at least 2nd yellow

Inconsistent officials yet again. The ref had just booked McCombe for a nothing of a challenge then right in front of the lino their number 16 whacked Furman high up on  the chest, easily a second yellow but i don't recall the ref even speaking to him

no where near a pen for the copps challenge

Although there did look to be a handball a few seconds later, if it's the same pattern of play I'm thinking of.

I was sat at the other end of the ground but I can state categorically having paused it on the FLS that Clucas is yards onside for their first goal. Not even close to offside.

Definitely onside. All you need to do is pause football league show when that bloke with dreadlocks takes his shot

I agree .... the second challenge by 16 was a deffo Yellow and if you could see a replay the Ref (aka K....ead) actually ran in and was reaching for a Card (presumably a Yellow). When he saw it was 16 again he did not bother getting the Card out ...

... and you are right he did not even speak to him and give him a final warning. Totally inconsistent throughout the game

Yep,  he was well onside when the shot was taken and in an offside position when he put it in from the refund off the post ,  which is perfectly fine.

Struggled to pause it in the exact spot he takes the shot but yes on second viewing he does appear to be just about level with LMcC who is trying to block the original shot.

I was dead level with this, sat in the West stand.  It looked offside in real time but that was with red and white tinted glasses on.  I found the FLS footage inconclusive.

We never seem to get a decision from the West stand linos....

On that we don't get the decisions from the West Stand Linos, maybe down to the amount of abuse the receive from us in the West stand!

Sorry for that.................... I have tried to keep my mouth shut but in the heat of the moment, they get the full works, as did the West Stand Lino for their first goal on Saturday
