Putin
« on February 29, 2024, 02:47:48 pm by scawsby steve »
Is he bluffing? If he's not, then there seems to be only 2 scenarios; a nuclear war, or Ukraine loses.

Personally, I think he's too cowardly to launch a nuclear strike against the West, but will the Western leaders take the risk?

It's interesting to hear what the political pundits and military experts are now saying about the US election. If Biden wins, the threat of nuclear war increases; if Trump wins, it becomes less because he'll weaken Nato, thus emboldening Putin with his land grabs.

It's an awful situation all round, and there doesn't seem to be any favourable solutions anywhere.

Trump will get what he wants if he comes to power, the other NATO countries will have to stump up, Europe has had its good times with American and UK cash propping them up and putting them on their feet again, they had seventy years of it.

In all fairness Putin did say as long as Nato didn't encroach on them they'd leave them alone.

However I don't believe all is being told about the WEF puppet. Zelensky that is.

BST has a picture of Hitler on his dart board. He has his steaks, rare, cut into the shape of a Hitler face characature. He has a painting of Hitler lying dead and bleeding, on the road outside his house,  so he can start his day's running over him.

But worse, he projects that persona, Hitler, onto everything he doesn't like. Monomania.

I hope it's a Yorkshire Dart Board

Mrs Coleman is watching those old American documentaries on Stalin and says Stalin (who even killed/starved his own people) was "effectively" worse than Hitler

That's easy sprot, I was wondering if a fascist or similar sort of movement started up again in times of stress and danger who may be susceptible to that style of thinking is all. I have vague memories of hexthorpe getting a guernsey a while back.

There was 40k + such people in british union of fascist that started in the 1920s.

Fascism is only a progression, take a series of useless governments, desperate, that start breaking laws, prorogue parliament, use refugees as pawns in their political games. They could easily start deporting their own citizens trying to drum up fervour with the nutjobs.

Deporting ones own citizens would be way over to the far right, no?, protection of the population is the first duty of any government, right?

Where in the western world would it be ok to deport your own citizens? Who would do that?

Worse, who would vote for a party/government that did that?

added for those that failed to join the dots

''British political scandal that began in 2018 concerning people who were wrongly detained, denied legal rights, threatened with deportation, and in at least 83 cases[1][2][3] wrongly deported from the UK by the Home Office. Many of those affected had been born British subjects and had arrived in the UK before 1973''

A controversial look at whether it can be predetermined if some have a tendency to be drawn to fascism.

I disagree 91, it sums up a government that has forgotten what good government is or looks like, a country is it's people and the majority are good.
