Squad of 22 next season

Didn't go to the meeting tonight but read on twitter that Paul Dickov wants a squad of 22 for next season , was their any mention of how many loanees we will be Looking at or are they included in the original squad

I'm sure I heard him say 3 or 4. Loans are a fact of life in football at the moment, and that you work from window to window. So we start the season with Christmas being the next decision point.

Are we counting Wakefield Harper Furman and Maxted as existing players

Fair to say the number of loans will depend on a number of factors as things unfold during the season and as we know they are necessity these days to be able to get through a season.

There's the 'try before you buy' loans.
There's the big name loans who may be out of favour or returning from injury at their own club.
There's the short term ' fill the gap' loans to cover injuries & suspensions.
There's the youth type loans a la Lundstram.

I'm sure Paul would want a squad of 22 signed on pro's with the above being additions as and when, or budgets allow.
