Rename the Lakeside Bar?

Well if the stadium is going to be ours we may as well get in nice and early and start to make the changes we all want to see. So, lets start with your suggestions for the Lakeside, I'll start it off and once we get a significant number lets run a poll and tell the club what we would like to see.

The Belle Vue Bar.

I suppose you could do this with the restaurant as well, or name every executive box after a Rovers legend, or for that matter any other area of the stadium.

I`ll go for the obvious one, Alick Jeffrey Bar/Restaurant

Don't we already have Alick Jeffrey way around the stadium?

I would have thought the obvious one would be The Colin Douglas Bar!

Personally I like the Cross Bar, but that's not really very Rovers is it?

I'd still go for the obvious and go on the old pub style name - ie the Sir Francis Tierney.

We had a poll on here before and Belle vue Bar won it then,The SMC had their opionion then too.
There's some good name suggestions there,The Cross bar is a great name for a sports bar,but like you say BFYP,it's not very Rovers, and to help stamp our own mark on the stadium since the takeover,My vote goes to Belle vue bar again.

Belle Vue bar is easily the best suggestion so far! Don't think you'll beat that name either tbh.

There will soon be a generation of Rovers fans who have no memories of Belle Vue. It has to be Belle Vue Bar for this reason. Fill the place with Belle Vue memorabilia.

Drover, you just beat me to it!

I've been racking my brains all morning to remember which stadium I visited years ago which had every bar / food outlet in the concourses named after club 'legends'.
There were big photos of the relevant person above their particular bar / outlet.
I can't remember where it was now but I thought what a great idea it was.

We should do the same at the KM. The idea about naming exec boxes in the same way is also a good one.
That way, we can include plenty of names.

There's the added advantage of being able to tell your mates: "meet you at the Harry Gregg bar in the West Stand"!

And by the way, "Belle Vue Bar" gets my vote for the Lakeside.

I was talking to my dad about this the other day. I said to him I wondered why it was never named Belle Vue Bar. So it's odd that this has come up now... Belle Vue Bar for me!

We sold the naming rights to the stadium and the council has allegedly already spent a lot of the money gained from the deal.

If it gets renamed 'Rovers Return' can we get Tina (Michelle Keegan) to open it up please?

Great idea by Drover too, just to add to it, we could have 'Barnesy's Burgers' or something similar

great idea, take the urinals out of the bogs, just have a concrete wall with a trough but no drainage, and knock the ceiling out and you`ve recreated the old bogs on the popside

Not a club stadium but they have that at Wembley I'm sure of it.  I also think this is a great idea.  Brand it above with some iconic pictures and a bit of facts such as appearances, goals, major facts about them.  Be quite a good thing to have and to make it a bit more Rovers.

Belle Vue is a good option with some memorabilia pictures up etc and perhaps a timeline around the roof coving of all the major bits of history both good and bad.
