Sadly footy fans these days have become very drab. They just sing generic songs.

Be great if Reo or any of our players actually had songs sung about them. Would make a nice change.

Welcome Reo. Hope you settle in quick.

Bit concerned though that we seem to be rushing into longish contracts for quite a few players, some of which are an unknown quantity.

think you have to take a chance on this one, if he gets some form he would be the sort of player that could be worth a lot of money, of course he might be shit but for me it's worth a gamble sometimes

I guess so. Just would dread to think if we taken a punt on Cukur on a 2 and half year deal and that sends a shiver down the spine.

I'm just thinking of York City when they got rid of Nigel Worthington for Russ Wilcox and then between Wilcox and following manager Jackie McNamara, they proceeded to hand 2 year deals to anyone and literally had a squad of about 50 players all on 2 year deals and they were all shit. They went down to the NL and subsequently NLN. In the space a of few years.

Well Fergie can usually spot a player

But welcome aboard Rio

(thought I'd get in there first with that one)

Well the pressure is on.

Of our strikers / attack minded players at the club, Dodoo has scored 3 i think. Hiwula 1. Agard yet to score despite starting to clock up apperances. Mipo no goal on debut. Barlow has 1. Seaman has 1. Martin none in 3. Not good enough.

These new boys need to start scoring.

Also Matt Smith and Galbraith haven't added many goals despite playing most games this season. That early effort from Smith against Plymouth was abject. Had all the power of a 4 year old. Smith hasn't scored this season which isn't acceptable and Galbraith has 1? 2 maybe? Not good enough.

Hard taskmaster, particularly in a struggling team so far. Agard clicking up appearances? What, 3 starts and a sub?

Ok, so let's have a reasonable target for the rest of the season, bearing in mind you can use the following as a benchmark

John Marquis 23apps 6 goals
Will Grigg        16 apps 2 goals
Joe Dodoo      22 apps 3 goals

So, what should we be expecting from
Dodoo
Agard
Mipo
Reo
Rowe
Martin

Yes, of course you hope the rest of the players chip in with the goal tally but let's stick with our most attack minded players.

Agard for example. Yes, 3 appearances and a sub so 4 and no goals. We brought these players in to score goals and whilst they aren't going to be like Harry Kane, we need to be expecting what we brought them in for - goals. Otherwise what was the point?

Ok so it's a bit harsh yes but we need a purple patch immediately from at least one of these new additions.

His name is Reo and he joined us from lyon,
His name is Reo and he scores goals just for fun,
And when he’s in on goal he shows us all his plan,
He puts it past the keeper like we know he can

He will need international clearance before he can play.

Do we know if Rovers have got that yet from Lyon?

(To big my humble self up a bit lol )I can boast having to get Aberystwyth University to send international clearance forms through to France (Fc Montélimar ) in the early sixties .It only took a month by pigeon carrier .But as we know from the Sunderland O ‘Brien case you can not necessarily trust modern communication systems either to be timely .

Free transfer. Lyon have a 30% sell on clause.

About time there was a Waitrose flag with Baldwin in, on it.

If only we had  this team and manager from the off! Makes you wonder where we would have been.

Great effort selby, although not sure many on the BB will have heard of Barry Manilow. He's way too old for even me and i'm just about middle aged technically i guess.

It's still a transfer as oppose to signing an unattached player so i think they just put undisclosed if the contents of the deal aren't widely known which is normal.
