I’ve not seen anything about any injuries this week, didn’t look good for Reo though

There’s question marks over Molyneux as well.

If it’s gone quiet that usually is not a good sign.

Yea, you do wonder whether Rovers have asked DFP not to report on the injuries for now.

Isn't Thursday the normal day for pre-saturday fixture news briefings?

Perhaps we'll here more later today.

Just follow the usual four step process:

1. Nominally relatively minor injury
2. “Back by end of month”
3. Total silence for weeks on end
4. Out for season

I thought it was going to be worse than that, to be honest. I can’t see Reo having much of a say in proceedings until (maybe) November or December, as he’ll have to catch up with his fitness again.

Room for another loanee?

Time for Agard to step up.

Or maybe an opening for Fej if he’s fit.

Yes, sadly predictable. Let’s see how those two months pan out.

Radio Sheffield also saying “neither Ben Close or Jon Taylor are close to coming back”.

Knoyle fit for Saturday.

I thought Jon Taylor’s injury time-out was reduced only a few days ago?

Not sure Radio Sheffield were overly precise in their quote but either way we are not going to see them in the immediate future. Neither has kicked a ball in 2022.

We won’t be seeing Molyneux on Saturday, either, and Tomlin is touch and go!

Here we go again!

Anyone got a link to the interview? Not showing up on RS  website yet.

Sad bit expected news about Reo. Impact injury.

We weren't expecting Close or Taylor to be declared fit in the imminent future.

Tomlin touch and go so you would expect it being a minor injury.

Knoyle returns which is positive.

So, whilst the disappointment continues it's not a disastrous situation.

I personally don’t think we will see Taylor, Close or Anderson in a Rovers shirt again

Steve Jones reporting it on Twitter.

We havn’t kicked a ball in anger yet, DBR, it’s worrying.

It's only worrying if you allow it to be. Let GM & Copps decide if they want to do any extra business to maybe cover the right flank or wherever else they see fit.

All teams suffer injuries. We had an inordinate amount last year but these recent ones, other than the long-term three I mean, are about what you'd expect.

We have room to manoeuvre in the loan market if we need to bolster an area of the team. It's a shame for Reo as he had the chance to make a starting place his own this season.

GM has already stated no more incomings unless some ‘fringe’ players can be moved on!

We need to bring in a couple of loans to improve the depth. We have next to no cover at full back and if anything happened to Clayton or Biggins then we’re in trouble in center midfield. If Tomlin is out tomorrow we may have to play 4-4-2 as we have very little options available
