To be fair to Rob, it seems to me that he started the post in good faith and once again further up the chain has not delivered when promised.. that doesn't make it Rob's fault, now does it?

Sorry guys, I posted that up in the firm belief there would be an announcement yesterday about something we've been working with the club on. We wanted to let the club launch first, and the intention was for it to go out yesterday, hence my teaser, but the nod got delayed due to meetings and the window was lost .

It certainly wasnt an attempt to say "i know something you dont" as I thought we'd all be part of it within an hour or two. Best laid plans, eh?

Anyway, thanks for your guesses. Some made me laugh out loud. Keep some of those in mind for when the announcement lands later.....

I see a "piece" relating to Dave Penney has been removed from News now for DRFC, i wonder if Dave is to be involved with youth set up. I know he has his achademy in Castleford, maybe an extension of that. ( well kids do start small and generall end up "Something Big".

Dave is running his academy from the Keepmoat he did an interview on the website last week. He's picking up those who don't make it to our youth team to allow them to continue development with the aim of improving their way into the youth set up. Good idea really.

As for the other announcement, it's all still very quiet haha.
