Away kit choices
« on January 23, 2015, 04:16:28 pm by RoverSi »
Im sure 3 of the home shirt designs were submitted by the same poster on here? And further more, I thought it was those HORRIBLE pinstripe design's that people didn't want!? This all looks abit strange to me.
Why has somebody failed to accept that drfc, as a brand, is red and white hoops. The ONLY football league team to wear those colours! It's what defines us :headbang:

3 is the best but 2 would be ok. Shame we can't keep the away kit from this season. It has grown on me.

Both I have this years kit.  It is a lovely one.  I liked Countys this week as well (mmm green and yellow, just like the old WBA kit)

Based on these choices I'm glad I no longer go to away games

None of them are nice I also can't stand when we wear a green kit (apart from Brentford).

There really isn't much variety in the designs.  I voted for number 3 but in all honesty none of them have any Wow factor for me.

Has the manufacturer come up with these? Because I saw so many great ideas posted on the thread on here, yet all the ones on there are shit.

Looks like the end is season sale of the current away shirt could be popular

Green for me, but as I don't use FB there is no option for me to cast a vote remotely?

Very poor options. I prefer 4 in that green is one of our colours, but the blue and red of 5 just looks better. That same pin hoop design but mainly white with red is what should have been in there.

Not happy either with the unclear selection and decision making process of all this. Better than nothing though, just like eating straw is better than starving.

You can do MUCH better DRFC

Really dissapointed with these, no imagination, no thought, no design input from the fans

Fair enough we have to have a new kit every year
Yes they give us a chance to vote but to get the buy in from us why not do what they promised in rtid in the past which was to look at the fans choices

Last year worked really well, this year fans ideas have been dismissed and the club have gone along with that

A v disgruntled fan here who will NOT buy a home or away top next season based on how all this has been approached by club and manufacturers

Pinstripes just a no for me I'm afraid, especially the home shirt designs. What happened to us being the hoops? I know it's not been a tradition for that long compared to most other clubs, but it's a tradition none the less, and it actually makes us unique in the country.

Can whoever is running these kit designs reply to the quote from Machomadness  as it would be nice to get an answer?

You'll have to ask the club that question. Its nothing to do with us, or the supporters I'm afraid.

And here's everyone being led to believe it is something to do with the supporters. This fan engagement thing appears to be only fan engagement when it fits, otherwise it's Fan Disengagement.

Presumably the club will just pick whichever one it wants anyway.

That's what it looks like. or whoever did this whole process which clearly shows how the successful process using this site in previous years has been overlooked. What a waste!

I completely agree, but I fear we're going to end up with a pinstripe on the home strip because 2 of the hooped strips were too similar, splitting the vote.

We wish it wasn't Filo, but if we don't know the answer, what do you expect us to say?
