He is a good player that got bad advice but i am glad he left because of the player that replaced him.

It's no exaggeration to say that had he not left when he did we would not be where we are now.

Ended strongly at Walsall, scoring in three of the last four games.

His 8 in 25 league games for us (goal every 3.1 games) was only marginally better than his 6 in 20 league games for Walsall (goal every 3.3 games).

Be interesting to see what happens to him next season. Will he get a crack at West Brom first team?

With Faal, Craig and TLT you would expect them to feature in their clubs pre season games and be given a chance to impress.

14 goals in a season int bad for a 19/20 year old. I'd expect him to make a career in Tier 2.

I really don't understand the vitriol towards Mo Faal.

He was really good for us, and then he had the option of switching from a club (us) that he had no real connection to, to another club that he also had no real connection to, but happened to be much closer to home. And that option came at a time where he'd been moved into a position for us that didn't quite suit his game.

Of course he was going to take up the Walsall option. Second rule of football support; never get too attached to loan players.

(If you're wondering what the first rule is, it's that Steve Evans is a c***)

He’s had a great season for a young lad.
