I just had a look on the DROS.
It says in the announcement as though McCann may have asked him to leave.
He wants to have his own man in that particular position.

He must have sent him Honda way ( especially for southwestexile).

Seen that now and looking to bring in his own person.

The last paragraph is concerning
"I’ve already spoken to the right people and am excited to have signed Ali Crawford and Mallik Wilks, and may have more additions before the start of the season."

I hope may is will otherwise we are woefully short for the clubs and managers aim of top six.

I'm disappointed as Russ seemed a good and experienced hand. Only time and results will tell if this was a good move.

We won’t miss him. Our signings while he has been here have been hit and mainly miss and he’s not eared is a shilling from selling players on I dont think.

I’m not sure that’s entirely fair. We sign quite a number of players on loan so we don’t get any of the potential resale value. And several of the players we have brought in on permanent contracts will have appreciated in value while they’ve been here, we just haven’t sold them.

Since Wilcox joined, off the top of my head we’ve signed permanently Lawlor, Kiwomya, Ben khemis, Andrew, Whiteman, Blaney and this summer’s signings. Probably missing a couple.

Certainly a mixed bag but some potential resale value there.
